This book is really good. You might get bored at the early chapters,because the author introduced a pure scientific information. But trust me later you will find it very interesting.While I was reading that book I felt as if the author know me;therfore,he is stating my problems.

Interesting boook, it gets boring in some chapters, but introduces good habits and exercises that if followed will result in a more relaxing and focused lifestyle

Ironically, this book is *not* a focused treatment of the issue that its title promises to address: concentration and how to boost it. Instead, it's a book-length, beauty-magazine-caliber discussion of healthy habits and their scientific underpinnings.

Overall, it's mildly interesting and not entirely useless. But it should present itself as being about "mental health" generally rather than about "concentration" specifically.

اصبح مصطلح التركيز من المصطلحات المهمة جدا في عصرنا الحديث ، والحديث عن فن التركيز يحظى باهتمام مجموعة مع علماء النفس والأعصاب ،وذلك بعد هذا الكم الهائل من المشتتات التي جاءت نتجية الثورة التكنولوجية وبروز الهواتف الذكية بكل تطبيقاتها المذهلة والمتشعبة ، العقل البشري غير مؤهل للتعامل مع هذا الكم الضخم من مدخلات المعلومات والبيانات ولذلك يحتاج الإنسان تعلم فن التركيز ، إلا أن التركيز كمفردة تتشابك مع العديد مما نفعله سواء متعلق بجسدنا ونوع الغذاء المستهلك أو الأنشطة اليومية و طرق عملنا ونومنا وعلاقاتنا الاجتماعية والمهنية ، التركيز مفرد لكي تكون فاعلة يجب ان تصلح العديد من الأنشطة والممارسات الخاطئة في حياتك .

بالإمكان الحصول على بعض المعلومات المفيدة متفرقة خلال صفحات الكتاب، إلا أن اسلوب الطرح علمي بحت في الأغلب، كالحديث عن تكوين الدماغ و الموجات الدماغية و نتائج الأبحاث الخ.

الاجزاء المفيدة القريبة للقاريء العادي هي الحديث عن أهمية التغذية و العناصر الغذائية المختلفة للتركيز، قائمة تعزيز التركيز لدى الأطفال، موانع و محفزات التركيز، ممارسة التأمل و بعض التمارين التي تساعد على التركيز

Decidí comprar este libro al darme cuenta que en ocasiones mi mente se dispersaba tanto que no me permitía concentrarme tanto como a mi me gustaría. Solemos tener tantas cosas en la cabeza y solemos estar tan pendientes de cualquier estímulo externo que nos dejamos llevar por las interrupciones constantes que hay a nuestro alrededor y eso nos hace perder la concentración con facilidad.

En el libro se explican los problemas de concentración que tiende a tener la sociedad actual, problemas mayoritariamente basados en malos hábitos adquiridos con el tiempo, y que pueden resultar un problema serio para nuestra capacidad de concentración. El libro está escrito en un lenguaje bastante fácil de comprender, pese a tener algunas explicaciones médicas o científicas sobre el tema del capítulo. Explica varias técnicas y hábitos saludables para ayudarnos a concentrarnos mejor, y también hay un apartado específico para los niños. Para aquellos que tengan hijos o piensen tenerlos, puede resultar un capítulo útil, pues nos muestra formas de ayudar a los niños a concentrase y obtener un rendimiento mayor. Se habla de varias técnicas de relajación, concentración y otros hábitos saludables para mejorar la capacidad cerebral.

En mi opinión es un libro que estaría en mi estantería de "obligada lectura". Puede ayudarnos a todos a mejorar nuestras capacidades, y no resulta pesado de leer.

My 2nd read of this book. A summary of the development of the brain. A cover off of the typical things that distract. A helpful reminder of what elements help concentration. Smart eating, planned sleeping, drinking water, exercise. And some ideas to help concentration. A summary of a lot of scientific research much directed towards children but can still be applicable to adults.

A recommended read even when you sense you can concentrate well.
