Live action role-playing isn't something I've done much of but I figured I should at least try DnD since I like computer and console RPGs. And I think with the right people, it could be quite fun. This handbook, while not that enjoyable to navigate, provides a useful introduction to a vanilla experience. Maybe the DnD setting is a little too ad hoc and blandly middlebrow though? The fantasy equivalent of the MCU? Now Planescape or Gamma World on the other hand...
I am sure this is a great read for others but not me. Could you please explain it to a five year old with comprehension of the topic and then explain it to me.
