It had more words & a different story line than expected, but it was funny & made for a good read-aloud with a great moral lesson 😊

jalapeño Hal is a book about a rooting tootin cowboy that is as mean as they come but saves a town by force feeding them peppers. The kid didn't care cause she is a literal baby but I loved it.

A fun Texas story with lots of great Texas vocabulary It's a little long but first graders can sit through it without too much squirming.
