There seem to be far more books on knitting than crocheting, this book is one of the better crochet books I've found. I don't love all (or even half) of the patterns in this book, but this book has crocheted clothing that I would actually make and wear. Most of the patterns are tops, there are some skirts and a knit pouch. The patterns are stylish, simple, and not outdated/tacky as with so many other crochet clothing books I've found.

The book is beautiful with lots of gorgeous colorful pictures of intricate, elegant crocheted items, however, most of the pieces in the book could only be worn by the extremely skinny models who are presenting them. Also, the types of yarns used are unreasonable for the average crochet enthusiast.

I thought the majority of the patterns in this book were...weird. Definitely not something I would wear. My favorite patterns were the Japonais Tunic, and the Seaside Romance Skirt. The pictures in the book were pretty nice.

I am currently making the sanctuary bolero. It will be my first wearable crochet project and it is a really fun pattern so far!

This book actually has some things I would wear, which is rare in a crochet clothing book. Definitely want to make at least a couple of these!
