Dr. Gerson (1881-1959), who developed the Gerson Therapy, explains how the treatment reactivates the body's healing mechanisms in chronic degenerative diseases. The book incorporates extensive explanation of the theory with scientific research and the exact practice of the therapy, as well as a presentation of fifty documented case histories. Also included is a modified version of the Gerson Therapy for use with nonmalignant diseases or preventative purposes.

کتاب فوق مجموعه ای است از مطالعات دکتر گرسن بر روی 50 بیماری که بیماری آنها به طور وخیمی پیشرفت کرده و با استفاده از روش خود که فقط مبنای تغذیه دارد( هرچند روش بسیار سختی است) اما آنها را مداوا کرده است و حتی تعدادی از آنها بعد از گذشت این همه سال هنوز با ادامه این روش زنده هستند.
هنگامی که این روش را در آمریکا معرفی کرد بسیاری از سران با این روش مخالفت کردند. او برین عقیده است که استفاده از روشهایی مثل شیمی درمانی باعث ضعیف شدن بیشتر سیستم ایمنی بدن میشوند. سیستم ایمینی بدن خود قدرت مقابله با سرطان را دارد اگر بدن به طور کامل سم زدایی شده باشد و روش تغذیه ای طبیعی داشته باشد.

I read this book many many years ago and did not realize it was not in my list of reading. What this man did to try to educate society in the way the body can heal itself is astounding. And, the way our government tries to hide this truth is criminal. I watched a documentary about him yesterday and had never realized he died from arsenic. Very strange indeed. This book is his second attempt to publish this information, as the first manuscript was stolen after he completed the book- but prior to it going to press. He came to America around the time of WW II. His 86 year old daughter carries on his work today.

I skimmed the majority of this book, looking for the part that was different from traditional straight naturopathic theory--which was the bulk. I love, though, that different people from very different backgrounds came to the same ultimate conclusions about health: that if you remove the obstacles to cure and give the body the building blocks it needs to heal, then within reason, healing will occur. The twist was enzyme therapy, and I gathered the concept is that once the cancer cells are eradicated, the enzymes will go in and chew up the remaining dead tissue so that the body can resorb it... sort of like (pardon the analogy) maggots in a necrotic limb. I had never understood the concept behind why enzymes might be useful for cancer, and had been under the impression that the idea had been thoroughly debunked. But I wonder now whether that's actually true, or whether it's simply widely believed. Certainly the rest of his philosophy of health is dead on.

Feels like a collection of articles sewed together... Fresh organic foods vs chemicals/insecticides in our soil/diet as a cause is discussed. Calf liver smoothies, fresh-pressed juices and coffee/castor oil enemea's the primary solution. Patient cases in the back; I'm glad to see their recovery stories though. Apparently it did work!
Liver disfunction in patients (it being the 1st line of defense) is logically presented as a primary concern, as well as methods of detoxing the body through strict diet/supplementation (potassiums vs salts)/shots to promote liver recovery to reinstate naturally occuring functions (abnormal cell breakdown) seems to be the focus. Similar to modern discussions on metabolic disfunction= diseases and how/why Keto diets work (focusing on oxidizing/oxygen systems - cancerous cells breed under anerobic/fermentation systems) but a vastly different approach.

This book had some good facts and practices for a cancer diet. It is broken down into two parts. The first is the diet and discusses what to and no to consume. Further, it talks about the effects of certain vitamins, minerals, and substances on the body. The second part is the results of fifty cases and is written in medical terms and hard to follow, unless one has studied medicine. All in all, this book has good information that can help.

Fantastic book where a true medical genius details what he did to treat cancer; possibly more relevant today than ever since early results seems to indicate the therapy might work on the "covid vaccine" induced turbo cancers as well.

As a family we did not had deaths because of cancer, but I have a lot of friends, work buddies and other associates that have at least one family member that died from one form of cancer or other.
I wanted to know why people died from this disease and after reading this book by dr. Max Gerson all my questions and queries were answered and solved, everything got clear, the cause of the cancers all around the globe is our meat eating and processed eating habits, too much animal protein, too much animal fat, too much processed food, that’s what is causing this cancer epidemic.
Anyone that has a family member a friend or knows someone that has a kind of cancer buy this book and all the books by Dr. Max Gerson and find your health back.
