Inspired by the concerns of real teenagers, this thoughtful memoir addresses the many turbulent, confusing, and exhilarating situations teens face. Big questions such as Who am I? , What's important to me? , and What am I called to do on this planet? are explored in candid autobiographical essays as well as bits of wisdom garnered from relatives, ancient poets, popular movies, coworkers, and a host of other sources. Sexuality, drug use, friendships, stress management, and self-esteem are among the important adolescent topics that this personal memoir addresses with warmth, compassion, and wit.

Any teenager can relate to this book, it's great. It talks about the every day problems that teens face sometime in their life. It doesn't just go through the usual things that teens deal with. It goes deeper than that. It talks about those big questions that teens may ask themselves, and it gives great advice over that. It's all through the author's personal experience. Teens like it when some else has gone through the same things and later on shares it and even gives advice over those topics. I recommend it more for teens than anyone else, it's more relatable and we get great information out of it.
This book deals with alot of issues that most teenagers are dealing with themselves. Teenagers are more inclined to read what they can relate to I think. This book is great becuase it lets kids know that they aren't the only ones dealing with embarrassing or difficult situations.
I love this book!! I recommend it to the readers who are into teenage love and advice on love. This book talk on what you should do as a teenager and what not to do until a certain age.
