Baseball is one of the most popular sports in America.Abner Doubleday was a general in the Civil War.He was the man who invented baseball when he came back from overseas.Baseball is a book that will convince you to start watching baseball and maybe even play.It tells you where , who , and how it started.It lets you know how the sport progressed from one of the best second basemen who hit for average Jackie Robinson and always put on a show , to Mark McGwire who would make a baseball game look like a homerun derby with his hulk strength.This book should be recommended to all human beings.I say that because humans watch sports and read.Thats all you gotta do in order to fall inlove with this sport.I got hooked on baseball even more because I didnt know the backdround of it.I only knew the basics like hit , steal , catch , run , and think.But when i read Baseball , i read how it was invented , why it was invented , also how a baseball is made.If you dont like baseball , read the book and you will get caught like i do.
This book should be recommended to all human beings.I say that because humans watch sports and read.Thats all you gotta do in order to fall inlove with this sport.I got hooked on baseball even more because I didnt know the backdround of it.I only knew the basics like hit , steal , catch , run , and think.But when i read Baseball , i read how it was invented , why it was invented , also how a baseball is made.If you dont like baseball , read the book and you will get caught like i do.
My final thoughts on this book is that the book couldve been a little bit longer . About 35% is mainly about awards and such for players .But mainly I liked the book becaus i love the game and it made me love it even more with the backround on this sport . If it wasnt for baseball, i probably would be the laziest kid alive watching tv all day , eating junkfood , and be the unhealhtiest kid alive . Baseball is my life and i intend on having the career as my idol Clayton Kershaw . Well there you have it Miss Insco ! Hope you like the review and hope you have the chance to read the book and love the game even more .(
