As I have admitted in other reviews of Robby Gallaty books, I am somewhat biased because his writings are simple and extremely helpful and I tend to read most of what he has written. That being said, this book is an excellent way to begin to disciple a new believer. Most of us were led to faith in Christ, made some sort of public profession of faith, were baptized and then left to figure the rest our for ourselves. If you want to break that cycle and have a desire to see new believers grow in their faith, this little book can help you begin the process. It addresses simple and measurable ways to begin reading, responding to, meditating on, and obeying scripture. It contains the basic Christian disciplines that will lead a new convert to want more and more of Jesus.

A simple, short book for those who do not know how to spend quality time with God. He covers for topics all disciples of Christ should know about. The book is a quick read because it is only four chapters which span a mere 62 pages which are with a large font and double spaced-I doubt it would fill a half dozen 8-1/2 x 11 sheets if it was single spaced with the same font. (It took me less than an hour to read the entire book, including highlighting a few nuggets for future reference.) I would recommend it if you do not spend time wiht the Lord as it will definitely help get you started. Even if you are not a 'reader' you should not be daunted--this is about as easy as it gets.
