I really liked this book. 105 years old. Granted you can definitely tell there was a specific world view of "man" as human as the rational and reasoned person. Also there was no discussion of introverts or alternative lifestyles that we have today. But I do feel that maybe we have lost something of the training of this time. This is probably one of the clearest self help books I've ever read with practical unequivocal steps to poise (a topic rarely written on today). It was both amusing and useful.
