This series is generally a good solid read with nothing out of the ordinary. I would have rated this one much the same except by the time we got to the end, it turned into a really emotional read for me.
Ryan is a widower with two young children. He lost his wife a bit over two years ago and Ginny’s arrival at Audrey Memorial triggers the realization that maybe there was more to life than struggling through the days for the sake of his children.
Ginny is immediately attracted to Ryan, but a past tragedy in her life means that she doesn’t have anything to offer a man who wants a perfect wife and mother.
Not that Ryan is looking for anyone to replace his beloved wife. His in-laws do his babysitting and even thinking about dating is awkward. What he does want, in Ginny in his bed with no strings.
Which Ginny is prepared to agree to. She knows no-one would marry a flawed woman like her, but she wants to capture a little joy with Ryan.
Of course nothing is as simple as that.
As I mentioned before, this turned into quite an emotional read for me and the rules are, you make me cry in a good way, you get the five stars.

A comfort read through and through.
Hospital-based stories always give me Grey’s Anatomy vibes and while reading this book, I just wanted to curl up on the couch or my bed(whatever’s close at that point) with a blanket and my music and continue reading while the visuals play in my head.

Ginny is kind. That’s the best thing about her. She connects with people and will even take on responsibility for others’ wellbeing even if it is only by circumstance. Ryan with his quick smiles and sure-footed personality goes very well with hers and their story just made me smile.

The thing about a Mills & Boons is that you don’t have to think about anything other than the story itself. It is about Love and the reader gets it with all its sweet and bitter moments.
