Well it might depend on the way you look at it. One might see fit consider the lapse of time between the opening and closing of the camera curtain relevant, a couple of miliseconds probably. On the other hand one might see fit to consider the importance of the eye, mind and heart of the photographer. In this case would be correct to assume that making a photo would have taken a lifetime. I've chosen '2,3 seconds' for the title as it represents the sum of exposure time of all the photos presented in the book. It is also a retrospective because of the chosen structure and images are representative of my work and who I am. --Mário Azevedo
