For business owners and professionals who want to sell more products and services and ultimately, grow their business! In this book, you will discover how * create a laser-like focus * attract more prospects * build repeat and referral business * develop a system for staying on track
This book is only 77 pp., but it presents a lot of helpful information in a short space. I heard Mark LeBlanc talk back in 1998, and I was deeply impressed by what he had to say. Perhaps the most useful part of the book is the section on creating a "defining statement."
Suggestion by: Ed Barks. This slim volume has more actionable advice than books ten times its size. I keep this handy and refer to it more often than any other business book.
This short book provides concise and clear advice on how to grow your business, with useful exercises that will help you find clarity on the business process. The Early morning and evening question especially is useful for helping a business owner get oriented on what needs to be done to make a day successful. I will note that the book, due to the shortness of its length, doesn't touch on all aspects of a business or what a business owner might need to do with those aspects, but what makes this book so useful is it provides the necessary clarity combined with exercises that are easy to implement, making it a must read book for growing your business.
This is a small but powerful book. If you own or are thinking about starting a professional services business, then you should read this book. When running a business, there are two important aspects to making it successful over the long run: the marketing and running the business. This book touches on some aspects of running the business. Its real strength is in creating a simple, repeatable, totally doable structure for sustainable marketing. This book will be on my list of recommended reading for all small business owners!
Mark Leblanc is wonderfully generous with his knowledge, both in writing and in person. This common sense book offers a straightforward means of crafting a "defining statement" that tells people exactly what you do and how you can help them. This is definitely a "hands-on" guide. If you're a fan of platitudes and trite "inspirational" quotes, look elsewhere.
Like it says on the back of the book, "For business owners and professionals who want to sell more products and services." It defines a clear approach / system for doing business.
