Death Game - Five Players

Rate this book
Bert Scholes was a travelling salesman with plenty of experience and a hot line in dreams. Inured to the disadvantages of his job, he also knew the perks and liked to take his share. And when a fetching bit of spare female opened his car door and showed herself to be nice and friendly, Bert could see a spot of prime luck in the offing.
But hopes were not so bright after all, and some unexpected developments took the edge off his pleasure. Bert found himself involved in a game. He didn't care much for the players and he didn't like the rules, but the game offered glittering prizes to the winner - if there should ever be a winner - and Bert had a liking for the sort of prizes on offer.
So he stayed with the play - and it turned out to be a very deadly game indeed.
