The fifth volume in Tickerknits, 'GREEN' is a collection of six pieces knitted up in myriad shades of green with words reflecting all that is good and wholesome to eat as well as philosophies, of how to eat well. There's a pullover (GREEN IS GOOD), a scarf listing all that is green & wholesome to eat or drink; a green-pea, bobbled covered hat (EAT YOUR PEAS); the CHLOROPHYLL WRAP, describing the crucial role that this chemical plays in making all things green and finally, a matching cap & cowl inspired by the writings of food & nature columnist Michael Pollan (EAT FOOD, NOT TOO MUCH, MOSTLY PLANTS) and (MEET NATURE HALFWAY - IN THE GARDEN). The basic knitting structures are straight and uncomplicated to easily facilitate creating words with by using stranded- knitting, or knitting with multiple colors. So, caste on and Knit-What -You-Mean!
