Kity opens a knitting shop by the sea in a lovely village in Scotland. She was brought up in the village, but moved away to another Scottish town. But now she’s back, working in her new knitting shop. She is friends with the ladies of the quilting bee and joins them for sewing, knitting and crafting nights at the local tea shop.
Lochlan went to school with Kity, but they never got along. Kity always thought that Lochlan was the most annoying boy in the world. But meeting him now that he’s grown into a handsome man with his own thriving building business, she starts to wonder if Lochlan is as annoying as he used to be.
The bee nights include mending evenings when the ladies get together to repair and upscale their clothes and quilts. Will Kity mend her past differences with Lochlan? Or will she fall in love with the rich and handsome man she’s surprised to find out remembers her from a few summers ago?
With rumours of a surprise wedding being announced, everyone wonders if the gossip is true.
