i didnt acc read this I just reread the outsiders but you cant reread things and have the count to your reading goal so this is just the outisders and ofc its aazing like prob my favutire book ever because masterpiece tf
The book is really exciting and always keeps you going. It is full of action and i loved reading this book. Ponyboy and his two brothers Sodapop and Darry, are on there own in this world and have some hard decisions, especially since they're greasers. During this book they come across some trouble. you could say that in the end it all works out but they loose some important people along the way. I really did like this book, an i defiantly helped my to understand how life was in the sixties, but in a exciting and fun way. I liked how in the book pony boy was more emotional than in the movie, and in my opinion the book was way better. My favorite part of the book was the ending, i loved how everything kind of came together and in the end it really explained everything, this book is really well written. in the end when pony boy was struggling in school i was surprised that he was falling behind because he is such a good student, but once i looked at his situation in his point of view i realized that since he lost two people that ment a lot to him he was obviously going to go through a tough time. I think that Darry did the right thing, helping and yelling at him for struggling behind, i think that really helped Ponyboy. I defiantly recommend this book! at first i really didn't want to read it and i thought it was going to be boring and not fun. But it was very action pact and i really liked it. The book is well written and has a good concept. it teaches the read a lesson. I recommend this book to people who want a good read and who like action, serious yet funny, and emotional books. This book was really good and i would defiantly read it again!

The Outsiders by S.E Hinton is a well written novel about rival gangs in the early 1960's. These two rival gangs are called the Greasers and the Socs. The main character Ponyboy is a Greaser he lives with his two older brothers Darry and Sodapop. Then suddenly something goes wrong and Ponyboy and Jhonny, a member of the gang, are on a train to Windrixville to hide ,in an old abandoned church, from the police. After about five days of hiding in the the old church the go to in Windrixville Dally ,another gang members, comes to make sure they are okay and takes hem out to lunch. After coming back from lunch they rielise that the church is on fire and thatthere at small children inside after getting the children out disater strike and Johnny gets hurt. My favorite part of this book is the part when Johnny and Ponyboy save the kids from the church. It is my favorite part because it is very exciting. I would recommend his book to everyone because it has something for everyone.

This book was not the best book in the world, but it most definitely taught me a lesson in life. The Outsiders is about two weeks in the life of a 14-year-old boy. The novel tells the story of Pony-boy Curtis and his struggles with right and wrong in a society in which he believes that he is an outsider. The story opens with Pony walking home alone from a movie; he is stopped by a gang of Soc's who proceed to beat him up. The Soc's badly injure and threaten to kill Pony-boy; however, some of his gang happen upon the scene and run the Soc's off. This incident sets the tone for the rest of the story, because the event tells the reader that a fight between these two groups needs no provocation. This book is a good book just not the best, I did not like it, but that doesn't mean that you won't.
Such a great YA book. Even though the action occured decades ago, it is still absolutely relavant. Pony-Boy, Sodapop, Dallas may be from the 60's but they are still walking around today. Amazing that Hinton started writing this AT FIFTEEN.
