Nichelle’s father lost a poker game with a high-roller player. Because he could not pay his debt, to keep from being killed, he gave his sixteen-year-old daughter’s hand in marriage to Miguel. She was collected by her husband-to-be and kept locked away until her eighteenth birthday.

I absolutely love shifter books but I think this is the first “big cat” shifter book I’ve read. I freaking adore Nichelle & I come around to Savage once he deserves it lol. Seriously fabulous and I hope we get to have more of this world in the future. Spice is 10/5!

So let me just start off by saying that I am not typically someone who enjoys the supernatural trope at all . But the moment I came across the opportunity to sign up for Saved By Savage well I was just completely intrigued.so I decided to go in with a completely open mind and try something new . I’m so freaking happy I did . I was literally on the edge of my seat from start to finish. There were moments my heart was beating so fast , others I found myself utterly speechless. It’s the type of story that’s going to grab onto all your emotions so fast and pull at your heartstrings in ways you certainly will not be expecting. It’s the perfect blend of everything a great romance should be . Intrigue, non stop action, off the charts chemistry, dark , raw , gritty and emotionally charged moments, twists and turns, shifters , tragedy , angst , wonderfully written characters that are so unique , so captivating and extremely multi layered you simply cannot stop yourself from becoming more and more invested. In short it’s a true masterpiece that not only unforgettable and unputdownable but a must read

Hold onto your bragas ladies… Savage is coming!! I was enthralled the moment the words danced to life off the page and into my heart!! Nichelle immediately had my whole heart, I wanted to gut anyone who dared wrong her. The moment Savaged stalked onto the page I knew she was going to have the passion she deserved!
Don’t even get me started on my obsession for Savage and his fancy equipment! Come to mama!! I cannot wait to hear more of the antics he and his men get into! I wouldn’t mind a little more of Chief Axton and Jules while we’re at it! Anyone keeping that crew in line is bound to have some stories!
Authoress Monica L. Smith paints a picture so vivid I felt as if I had been plucked from my cozy bed and plopped right into Nichelles jungle cave! I cannot wait for more!!

Who needs a new Shifter Romance option because this book right here is it for you. Monica knocks it out of the park with this romance novella. It's a quick spicy read that will have you wanting your own Amazon shifter! Not only is the MMC a shifter but the FMC is badass.
Unfortunately, Nichelle's father lost a poker game where he bet his daughter's hand when he ran out of money. So, Nichelle was forced to marry this powerful guy who not only cheat on her but also beat her and worse. Until one day, enough was enough and she stole his money and was on plane out of the country. But when the plane she was on crashed in the Amazon she was forced to kick in her survival instincts or be eaten alive. Savage is a man that knows what he wants and doesn't like taking no as an answer. When him and his friends saw the plane crash, they instantly went looking for survivors. Upon inspection they only found the pilot dead, but because they were in their shifter form Nichelle thought they were a predator ready to make her their dinner. That is until she learns the truth.
Saved by Savage does have some heavy triggers so please read those before reading. But if an alphahole with a touch her and die vibe, is it for you then you will love this. Savage may be true to his name with being a Savage but when it comes to Nichelle, he takes it to a whole new level. They are fated mates so he will protect her with everything he's got. And that little twist at the ending though... WOW! Thank you, Monica L. Smith for this new and enticing shifter romance! I loved all the intense emotions with that worm funny feeling and the perfect comedic relief character.

A short, spicy, dark, shifter romance. Nichelle the FMC was bartered for marriage by her father to Miguel, an abusive, misogynistic alpha-hole. After years of enduring her husband’s wrath she gets the courage to make her escape, only to get into an accident that leaves her stranded and surrounded by panther shifters where the shift Savage the MMC discovers that she is his fated mate. The story has an intriguing storyline that has amazing plot twist, worth the read, it is short and full of spice, for me it is definitely a 5 star/5 chili pepper read, but as always when reading any dark romance make sure you check the authors trigger warnings.

Please check your trigger warnings before reading! Nichelle is an amazingly strong FMC and I loved how she gained her courage and came into her own. Savage, MMC, is the purest form of alphahole shifter I've ever read! The two of them bring this story to life so vividly! Monica is a master at being able to suck you so completely into a story and make you feel the emotions of her characters throughout the entire story! Also, (this may be a tiny spoiler) I LOVED the emphasis put into body positivity and healthy weight and men appreciate women with curves!

Nichelle is a beautiful soul that has gone through some terrible things. The men in her life have all failed her and she deserves so much more.
Cue in Savage…Savage is definitely an alphahole! He is a mixture of vile and sweetheart and somehow it works. His father is my favorite person in this book.
I’m looking forward to what happens next. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing some folks we thought were out of their lives again in book 2. Plus I’d love to dive into the thoughts of Nichelle’s sperm donor aka father.

When Nichelle's father losing a Poker game to Miguel, he gives away his 16 year old to save his own life. Miguel locks her away until her 18th birthday, and then they get married and he treats her awful. After putting up with so much, and Miguel's infidelities Nichelle finally gets the courage to leave her husband, and travel far away where he won't find her, only problem is the plane crashes into the Amazon Rainforest, and there she meets Savage! This book has spice, and humor and I overall enjoyed this.

I love shifter romance’s. This one delivered so hard. This is a dark shifter romance so read the TW first. Nichelle is given to a violent man to pay her fathers gambling debt. Nichelle’s husband is abusive once she’s of age. Nichelle escapes and crashes in the Amazon, where she is rescued by Savage. This novella is just what I was looking for. I haven’t read that many shifter romances that have big cats in them. Monica has written the story I didn’t know I was in search of.

Wow! This is the first book from Monica and I will absolutely be reading the rest! I enjoyed her writing style and character building.
Nichelle at the beginning of the book had me worried she was too broken, but by the end of the book she fearless! Savage is an absolute alphahole but when faced with a threat towards his new Mate he would definitely move mountains for her.
I cannot wait to see where else we go in this world the side characters were all fab.

Looks like Monica L Smith has done it again...I absolutely love the storyline.. I could not stop reading. Savage.....I love the way his beast could be gentle as well as "Savage" Just the right amount of paranormal erotica. Nichelle....escaping and even through the plan crash found what she needed in herself to survive.....I loved everything about this book and would recommend it to whoever loves a good read.

If you love a good rough around the edges, don’t take crap from anyone type of guy! Savage is the one for you! Also if you like touch what’s mine and I’ll kill you, no can touch Nichelle with out wanting to rip their head off! It’s a great fated mates story. It has a little twist at the end you won’t see coming, that will shock you!

Nichelle is a strong, lovable FMC who was gifted by her father in a lost poker game to a man who’d not only control but also beat her, rape her and cheat on her.wanting to leave her old life behind, she runs away and ends up in the Amazon jungle in a plane crash. A panther shifter finds her and finds out she’s his mate. Lots of darkness, lots of spice, but also some humor and light.

To have so much happen in your life can be a lot, but I think the escape can be worth it. I loved the main character and come to love every part of the book. It’s been a whole since I’ve read a shifter but this hit the spot. The writing in book really pulled some strings and has a little of all my favorite things. Definitely was worth the read.

This book starts our dark and twisty. Two of my favorite things in a book. It eventually forms into a beautiful relationship. I loved this story I couldn’t put it down. This was the perfect little novella. I can’t wait for more from Monica

I ate this up! I literally mean that! I think it took like 3 hours to read this entire thing and I was so in it from the third chapter.

This is my second read from Monica Smith and it’s another 5*! She does a fantastic job with world building and character development.
Nichelle is a strong FMC and it’s nice to see how her character grows and develops. The MMC, Savage, may take a bit to grow on you but he’s worth it.
This is a good read if you enjoy fated mates, alphaholes, and touch her and die vibes!

An amazing novella! I loved the plot, the characters, the entire story!
This starts with the FMC escaping an extremely @busive relationship, she is rescued by a shifter in the middle of the Amazon rainforest after her plane crashes, all while hoping her husband doesn’t find her and try to take her home. Let’s just say that Savage, the shifter that finds her, definitely earned the name he was given!
It’s a very spicy book, along with a few triggers, so read them before diving in!
