"It's a perfect storm. We have a real storm, a Russian destroyer on our tail with torpedoes ready to launch, a submarine on the Russian's tail, ready to take it out before he's in range to fire a torpedo at us, and the Russian navy closing in on their rogue destroyer." ~Toven/Tom
And Nils is monitoring the situation closely, dancing with the gray lady.
In Dark Alliance Perfect Storm, everyone seems to be wearing their dancing shoes. Jade is dancing away from admitting her love, Phinas is doing the impatient two-step, circling his Kra-ell prisoners, the counsel allows a new member to waltz onto their stage, and Igor thinks he is still dancing with the stars.
Break a leg, Igor. PLEASE.
Our next milestone in the Children of the Gods saga is about to take a bow, but I think there might be one more act with Igor as a supporting role. He thinks he's worth more alive than dead. I'm beginning to think that Kalugal doesn't actually have the biggest ego in this galaxy.
Book 70 touts just enough of the smooth moves to keep you in the theater, but it starts off as a slow dance. With Jade and Phinas in separate locations for much of the story, the dance of seduction doesn't begin until the curtain is about to close. You'll still want to toss a bouquet of roses, though.
