True Believers: Conversations with North Koreans

Rate this book
This essay argues that North Korean elites are "true believers" in the Kim personality cult. In his research, the author travelled to North Korea and discussed sensitive subjects with his North Korean guides. Making use of unconventional research methods and primary sources, it argues that the underlying stability of North Korea may be stronger than most would suspect or hope.
