The author, the mother of ten, comments on her family's adventures and misadventures and tells how she coped with cooking, runaways, television, curfews, and other pertinent topics
this book may have been written back in the 1980s but I feel it still holds up with many Mom feelings of today even for myself a mama for boys which range in age 9 years in between the oldest and the youngest I still found myself laughing in feeling like I could agree with many of the feelings of the author and even though we have not come to many of the situations yet I think some of it will still hold true as my children become adults.
A friend lent it to me. I wasn't particularly excited with non-fiction, but reading this is really refreshing. At some point, it reminds me of my own family.
