The Beatles: The Real Story of the Liverpool Street Kids (Docubook)

Rate this book
No Beatles fan—or music fan of any generation—should be without this comprehensive exploration into the greatest band of all time. They shook the world, they created the soundtrack for a generation—more than just a musical group—they were a part of our lives. From beginning to end, the Beatles’ story is told through first-hand accounts and in-depth interviews with over forty friends, relatives, musicians, and managers. Highlights a rare interview with John Lennon’s sister, Julia Baird, where she breaks her long silence; tales from the road with tour manager, Mal Evans; and interviews with doomed ex-Beatle Stu Sutcliffe and Beatles’ press manager, Tony Calder just to name a few.

The material was ok. IT IS VERY POORLY PRODUCED. I would be embarrassed to have my name associated with this. Interviews are poorly recorded and cobbled together. I would like to have my money back on this one. The Rolling Stones one is marginally better. For those reading this review I am not a hater check out my other reviews, I tend to be overly kind these two products are just poorly done
