Yoga: A FlowMotion Book

Rate this book
The mind has been described as a chariot pulled by wild horses that toss it this way and that. The object of yoga is to tame these wild horses and train them through observation. In this book you will practice hatha yoga, a type of yoga that offers a tangible path by combining movement with breathing techniques to grasp the mind and bring it home.

Flowmotion is a breakthrough technique, the newest, greatest way of teaching sport, fitness routine, dance, or any kind of physical activity! Unless you've got a private teacher standing right with you, it doesn't get any better than these revolutionary guides. Picture this: strobe-like, wide-format photographs - created by cutting-edge digital technology - that fluidly capture entire movement sequences with key stages highlighted. It's as if you were watching a video. Underneath the pictures, captions provide even more directions. There's nothing else like it anywhere!

Soothe your mind and enhance your health while toning every muscle with yoga.

A flow motion book has photos showing each step of the yoga pose. The photos flow across two pages showing each sequential movement from beginning to end. Detailed explanations, which include breaths, appear under each movement.

The book is broken into an introduction to yoga, and then sections including waking the body from the floor, sitting postures, standing postures, and finishing postures.

This is a great book for anyone who practices yoga. Beginners will love it.
