A very readable, concise narrative on World War I, accompanied with maps of the ever-changing frontlines, and lots and lots of pictures and brief descriptions of most of the battles, many of which I've never heard of, in various territories including the non-Eastern and Western fronts like Mesopotamia, Salonika, and Palestine, showing the breadth of the conflicts, as well as the men and women who were involved, even from far China. Not just the battles actually, but if you want to know more about warfare tech development from tanks, biplanes, machine guns, and even pistols, you'd enjoy the book even more.

A very eye-to-detail, conscientious, and vivid World War book that will escort you to one of the most atrocious wars occured in the world history through every single battle, weapons of WWI, military strategy, etc. completed with more than 500 photographs, maps, and battle plans.

However, I find it boring on several pages I wish this book would not provide and to be honest, it is not like what has been expected after read its synopsis. I am eager to recommend this book if you are someone who is very fanatic to detail, especially in history!

The Complete illustrated History of World War 1 was an alright book. It explained a lot about World War 1 and I learned a bunch of new facts. If you are into books about war, then this is for you. The book has many, many facts about true stories and it is strictly non-fiction. The book also has many pictures that help you understand what the time period was like.

This non-fiction title has 256 pages. It takes a long time to read because of all of the pages and words per page. Stated on the front of the book, it has more than 500 photographs, maps, and battle plans. I personally think the book was okay. I liked the fact that it is non-fiction because I don't like fiction books as much as non-fiction.

A fairly short overview of the Great War's battles, weapons and politics. This would be a good book to start with if you were unfamiliar with the basic happenings of WWI. There are some good pictures and maps included.
