Hard cover book which is well written with clear information and instructions. It teaches you how to get the correct fit for your body while providing pattern pieces which cover the measurements for a UK size 8 to 44 to use as a starting block to alter to get an exact fit. It then describes how to use your bespoke blocks to create whatever you want. It does not include trousers or children's clothes. The knowledge also enables you to alter commercial patterns to fit. A fabulous book that is frequently sold out and waiting the next print run which says it all.

After carefully reading this excellent dressmaking book I feel ready to start my first fitted garment. Can't wait!
