Aleksandr Gelyevich Dugin (Russian: Александр Гельевич Дугин, born 7 January 1962) is a Russian philosopher and activist. As a founder of the Russian Geopolitical School and the Eurasian Movement, Dugin is considered as one of the most important exponents of modern Russian conservative thought in the line of slavophiles. He earned his PhD in Sociology, in Political sciences, and also in Philosophy. During six years (2008 – 2014), he was the head of the Department of Sociology of International Relations in Sociological Faculty of Moscow State University. His publications include more than sixty books such as Foundations of Geopolitics, Fourth Political Theory, Theory of Multipolar World, Noomakhia (24 volumes), Ethnosociology. The influence of Dugin’s thought on modern day Russia (including political leaders) is recognized by not only his followers but also his philosophical and political opponents. His ideas are sometimes judged controversial or nonconformist but almost all agree that they are inspiring and original.

Alexander Dugin is considered as controversial person especially in the western hemisphere, especially he is described as neo fascist or neo nazi. Alexander Dugin has changed his personal views through his life, he was first one of the founders of National Bolshevik party in Russia and now he is big admirer of Putin politics. These book is translated in my country as Misterije Evroazije (Eurasian mysteries), and we see Dugin views about unity and cooperation between Russia and other Asian nations like Iran and Turkey, we can see that these things are happening in geopolitics now, maybe Dugin himself has influenced Vladimir Putin moves. These book is interesting mix of Dugin world views and sacral geography and how eastern and european cultures are all connected. There are really some interesting parts especially if you are interested in something ancient, mystical and occult. These book is really interesting mix of past, present and future. If you are interested in all these thematics this book is for you, don't listen to people who will just say not to read this because of Dugin reputation. I give these book 4/5.
