I'M SO SAD TO LEARN THAT THIS mOVIE WAS AFFILIATED WITH HARVEY WEINSTEIN. IT'S THE WORST NEWS!!

I used to LOVE this 'cause usually, as a young woman, you're made to feel like a prey animal essentially. Those fierce women (Beatrix Kiddo et al.) gave me life and empowered me to strive to become a layered human being with a vivid internal life.

So to see that that demonic entity hovered over all of that kind spoils it for me...

I loved this book so much. This book is about a young mother named Beatrix Kiddo who goes through a traumatic experience. She is practicing her wedding at a little church when suddenly her ex, Bill, finds her at the church. Bill had thought that Beatrix was dead for many years and he was trying to find the people who killed her. But instead, he finds Beatrix with another man rehearsing a marriage. So, Bill gets very upset and brings in his squad of 4 other people. Bill and his squad are all Kung Fu masters. They are all very good at what they do but, so is Beatrix. Bill and the 4 other people go on a killing spree. They kill Beatrix's fiancé, her friends, and her family. But, when they thought they kill Beatrix, they actually didn't. Now, Beatrix is very mad. After spending years in a hospital, she finally gets out and wants her revenge.

This book will and will always be my favorite book. It was just amazing, like wow. It had lots of action and many, many funny parts. When this book is suppose to be super serious and intense, they make it very cheesy and different and thats what makes it funny.

I would recommend this book to anyone. Anyone would love this book. Obviously not younger people because this book may be difficult to read but anyone who knows how to read I guess. This book is amazing and I guarantee you, you will love it.

Extra chapters called “Yuki’s Revenge”. Basically Sophie tells The Bride about Crazy Yuki and Yuki goes on a revenge quest. The film has The Bride already know about Yuki and kill her before she fights O-Ren. The script has The Bridge fight Yuki afterwards. Yuki confronts Sophie in America and blows apart the Pussy Wagon with a sub-machine gun (after The Bride kills her first target, apparently) and throws a grenade at her. The Bridge dodges it, runs into a house. Yuki shoots her in the leg as The Bridge runs up the stairs. Waiting upstairs, The Bride waits and shoots Yuki in the left breast.

Yuki: You fucking bitch! You shot me in my breast! They're not fully developed yet, you fucking asshole! Now I'm always gonna have a dimple!

Yuki runs to The Bride and they shoot at each other. Yuki is shot three times and falls down the stairs. The Bride, having also been shot three times, looks down and sees Yuki rise up. Yep, Yuki’s been snorting Bill’s powder and runs after the Bride, gets shot apart but keeps running. Yuki tackles The Bridge, they struggle, and Yuki dies from her wounds.

With five bullets in her, The Bride is two blocks away when she calls Nurse Owens, telling her, “If you can’t walk, crawl”. The Nurse picks her up and stitches up in her kitchen.

Then we get another chapter called “can she bake a cheery pie” where we get to meet Bill. Keep in mind until this point we haven’t seen nothing. That phone call with Driver talking to Bill? We don’t see him, we don’t even hear his responses. And we get Bill’s description as this: “He looks cool”

Basically in this chapter (6). He goes into an illegal casino, plays a game, causes some havoc by only talking. The owner, Boyle, realizes that she’s in hot water and Bill has come to kill her so she sends 5 men after Bill. Bill slaughters them, and Boyle’s in her room with a gun facing the door. Bill breaks the window behind her and yanks her out, throwing her onto the street.

Bill then goes to meet with Budd

After Budd shoots The Bride with rock salt, he turns her around and shoots her twice in the butt instead of playing with Bear Mace. Cut because, why wouldn’t she try to fight back when he’s turning her around? After shooting her twice, he calls Elle and then threatens her with the Mace as he and Ernie are digging her grave.

We also were supposed to get flash cut of Pai Mei taking down the Monks as Bill speaks

Elle kills the snake, leaves the camper, and meets eyes with The Bride. The Bridge smashes into her car, and goes into the camper and finds Budd’s sword. Elle then comes in, with the Bride’s sword, and they clash. It’s revealed that Pai Mei is the one that took Elle’s eye. They clash, Elle’s neck is slashed, and she dies at The Bride’s side. The Bride then buries Elle’s body. Nothing about Elle killing Pai Mei is mentioned or implied.

Esteban is not in the script.

The Bride goes to kill Bill with a sniper rifle, since he taught her how to use it, but Bill raises BB up so she’s in the scope. The Bride stops, waits, and calls Bill. Here, Bill tells her about how he told their daughter that her mother dreams of her, instead of telling it her when they’re both in BB’s bedroom.

The Bride calls Hanzo and tells him that her daughter is alive. Hanzo tells her to expect the unexpected.

The Bride then goes and confronts Bill and BB where Bill and BB pretend to shoot her. The film cuts the last two scenes and makes this scene where The Bride realizes that BB is alive. The scene with The Bride and BB watching a movie is also not here.

Bill and The Bride talk after BB goes to sleep. Here, Bill tells her about Esteban and the movie he saw when he was 5.

No Clark Kent monologue.

Bill and The Bride meet on the beach. The Bride blocks his attacks a la Pai Mei and does the exploding heart technique.

“She doesn't say anything, nor will an actress of Uma Thurman's caliber indicate her feelings, but the astute member of the audience will read the significance of her choice. His current status be damned, the Budd who owes The Bride satisfaction was a warrior. And it's that Budd she intends to send to his maker.”

The BRIDE'S POV:
Brother Budd sitting calmly in a rocking chair, moving back and forth to the Texas twang on his turntable, cradling a DOUBLE-BARREL SHOTGUN aimed right at The Bride.
SERGIO LEONE CU:
The Bride Blinks.
Both barrels BLAST in our face.

This review is about the idea of the Kill Bill franchise. My impression is based on the movies. After watching the first movie I did not question myself whether I was disillusioned. I took for granted that the characters in the story are acting from a disillusioned point of view.
When I watched the movie Catch me if you can, the disillusionment of the characters were not very apparent.
What I learned is as follows: As we the human beings grow on a minute by minute basis, the world around us reveals in a wonderful detail. My job is to give this otherwise silent work of art some verbal tangibilty.

i just want to congratulate myself on making sure i read the screenplay. bc wow! you kind of start watching the movies like you’re someone on the inside—someone that helped make it because you know the whole vibe of the plot and movie. some of the scenes that weren’t even in the movie gave me a clearer view as to what tarantino wanted from this

i also bought onitsuka tigers because of this movie

"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR FUCKING WITH YAKUZAS. NOW GO HOME TO YOUR MOTHER"
See, this is why I love screenplays, this one has a whole extra chapter about Gogo's sister Yuki that was cut from the film, and needless to say, it's pretty fucking cool. And just to put it out there, Uma Thurman's Beatrix "The Bride" Kiddo is the coolest FMC in the history of fiction, I can fight anyone on that (with a Hattori Hanzo sword)

If you’re a fan of the movie or of Tarantino’s style then you owe it to yourself to read the original screenplay. QTs write his scripts with a novelistic flare and that’s apparent from the films themselves, but there are entire chapters of deeply rich material here that were never even filmed. Reading this really does give a complete view of the entire narrative
