An entertaining read, although less a history of pop culture of the era than this particular author's reflections on his favorite parts of it. I especially enjoyed the chapter on the "Confessions..." books and films.

My buddy Martin wrote this book and sent me a copy when it came out. He digs up all kinds of fun factoids. Very British humor.
