Filled with typos, wrong answers, incorrect page numbers, etc. I was required to buy this book for a college course. It's on the opposite end of the spectrum when compared to Machinery's Handbook 30th. I gave this book away -@ no charge- to another poor sap that had to take the course.

This is a must have handbook for any kind of metal fabrication. It's one of the books I would want on hand to re-build the world.

As a machinist, the Handbook has been the quintessential reference for machining trumping even the internet. If you need to know the maximum diameter for a flathead screw in order to know how wide to make your countersink so the screw sits flush, then this book is for you!!!!

A must have on the desk of any engineer, or in the toolbox of any machinist.
