A delightful little collective of poetry, quotes, lore, recipes, and color illustrations, segmented into seasons. If you are into blank greeting cards, there is plenty here to implement the blank spaces with. An enjoyable gift for any gardening friend

i enjoyed this very much. got it through the paperback swap and wasn't what i had expected. it's a small gift-book. there are bits of country lore and bits of poems and very nice little paintings to go along with the poems and things. there are even some recipes.
