Well now after the king hears about a supposed immortal dragon for which has supposedly woke up; He believes that Lasgol and The leader of the Rangers is nuts or close to it. He has Gondabar put in the dungeons and Lasgol gets demoted from the Royal ranges Elite rangers to a regular ranger. Lasgol goes looking for more information and the pearls and ends up with Ona and Camu going 1/2 across the content. Not only does he gleam some great information as to what is the immortals plans of taking over world but finds that the dragon is working on raising an army of various other monstrosities like lesser dragons, giant beetles, scorpions and others. Lasgol and Camu learn more skills and Lasgols finished completing the bridge to his well of power making him more powerful than he was and even learned a little about Aodh bow. The more I read the more I'm looking forwar to finding out what Pedro Urni has planned for the Rangers and whether or not Lasgol will get Title back of eagle. Will he have the chance to become a royal ranger like his friends are?

Did Lasgol Forget He Had a Communiction Ring

Lasgol couldn't communicate with different tribes in books 15 and 16 and 17. Did the writer forget about Lasgols communication ring? Also, there was entirely way too much information about Royal Ranger training in book 17. Just skip it as it's not important to the plot.

The Panthers are led before the king and humiliated for their belief in a dragon. Gondabar is sent to the dungeons and Lasgol demoted from the Royal Eagles until solid proof is presented of the dragon. Meanwhile, Maldreck is ordered to find and train more Ice Mages for their war against the Zangrians.

It’s a good thing that Lasgol has been demoted as it gives him time to fulfill the last request of Eicewald: find and protect the 12 pearls. Lasgol, with Camu and Ona, ends up traveling south toward the Central Sea following the pearls. While the rest of the Eagles train to be Royal Rangers to become personal bodyguards to the Queen. Even though their already highly trained, it’s not as easy as it seems.

There’re several excellent ideas that pop up in here, especially by Camu. He’s very smart, but I like Ona better. Problem though. All through their fighting and things it seemed like Lasgol had unlimited arrows, then suddenly when it’s needed he runs out!

Footnote: 1) ‘Don Juan’ is a distinctly real-world phase and should not have been used in this make-believe world situation.

2) When the veteran Ranger’s come to help Raner train Astrid, Ingrid & Molak, they act as if they’ve received training as Royal Rangers. But I thought that was only if you’re going to become a Royal Ranger, but they’re still considered just veterans.

Fave scenes: Eicewald’s funeral, the monster attack on the ship, the Inon warriors and sneaking into the cavern.

Book was very good. Though it did get a little big too much. Especially with Lasgol's adventure. Lasgol had to deal with literal monsters. Glad his powers are increasing. The rest of the Royal Eagle's adventure was very interesting on the road to becoming Royal Rangers. Egil continues to plan excellent plans which was important for the ending of this book. Author continues to lay little bread crumbs to the reader teasing the eventual, Egil's grand plan to try to be king again. My negative with the book is that Dergha Sho Blaska wasn't defeated. we are in book 17, which for me personally is a lot. Kind of was hoping they would defeat him and focus On Egil's attempt at being king instead of dragging out Dergha Sho Blaska and that's why its not a 5/5. seems like the next book is a long one hope it delivers.

Book 17

Book 17 was a fun read and had errors throughout. The plot and characters developed well. The plot has developed well, if not a bit slowly. The characters have developed well, with the exception of Camu. He has still not grown up and acts like a child. It has become repetitive in his actions and by now I would think he would have matured a lot. Viggo has become a bit annoying too. I understand both characters have a certain personality to go by, but no growth in a character after 17 books is stretching it. I do look forward to book 18.

Numerous Dragon problems

The Panthers need to solve several intense problems. With only 3 more books left in this series I am hanging in here. I do not trust the Druid Queen because her behavior is mysterious and questionable. The biggest issue for me is how the Panthers will go about dealing with the Dragon King!? Going through these books really quickly because they are so intriguing and intense - Loving it :-)💕

Solid Book

I love, love this series. The characters are not one-dimensional, and the story draws you in. The earlier books in the series are 5 stars. This is only 4 stars because I feel the story is being strung out a bit, and I would like to eventually see the happily ever after. But it’s only 4 stars because the earlier books set such a high bar.

While I’m willing to recommend this book I must disclose to you that I’ve read all 20 in the series. The last book is an unmitigated disaster. The author was clearly tired of the work and just gave up. You can enjoy the journey if you want but trust me when I tell you that you will be utterly devastated. I can’t get over it. I’ll never read another one of his books again. You have been warned

I am hooked.. Love this series!!!

When I started this series I was just looking for something to read. Now.. 17 books in I am addicted.. The mystery, the stories within stories.. The Brotherhood of the Panthers or should I say the Royal Eagles? Will they defeat the dragon.. Will Evil become the true King? So many questions ... Book 18 here I come!!!

More like a rough draft than finished work.

Author needs a native English proof reader that can help him make the sentence structure correct, and not use words like "irony" incorrectly over and over again. The story line had a lot more holes in this one but over all it was good.

Dragons and Panthers oh my

Another fun read and another interesting plot development for the Snow Panthers! Dropped a star for the grammatical errors peppered into each book which distract from the overall reading experience.

The secret of the Dragon path of the ranger book 17

This isn't a very interesting read just like all the other books in this series. The Panthers seem to find himself in and out of trouble mischief and Mayhem and solve it all and come out Victorious

Still interesting

The 17th book in this series was as interesting as the first book. I really impressed with this author Pedro Urvi. The plots are still devious and he still keeps finding interesting things for Egil to do. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The Secret of the Dragon.

Another fantastic book. The Panthers must split up to divide and conquer their missions. They must stop a war and find out what the Dragons are planning. Each mission is perilous, and they must work together.

Ignore the editing errors and welcome back old friends on a new adventure. There are two separate stories but that's okay. I won't say more because it would spoil your reading.
