Water

Rate this book
Water is all around us. It is rain from the sky. It is a puddle on the ground. It is a place to swim. But that's not all. Water can change. Water can be ice cubes in your drink or steam from your bath.

This has good educational content, but it's a little dry and we didn't love the pictures.

A simple book (a Level 2 Progressing Reader from Penguin Young Readers) that talks about the many things water can be.

I just received this book in the mail as a free sample from Penguin Publishing Company. It is part of their Penguin Young Readers series of leveled readers. This book was a level two, progressing reader. It was a really cute book! It explains through simple text what water is, its various states (ice, steam, snow, etc..) and examples of where water is found. My four year old loved hearing this factual story and looking at the colorful illustrations in the book. A great book for teaching science concepts to young children!

My kids and I loved this book. Very simple text with about 15 words a page, but it shows that water changes from ice to water, to steam, etc. with fun illustrations.
