In part 2 of Property of a Rich Nigga, Jah struggles with the loss of Faye and Buck. Coupled with the stress of heading the crew and his family, he unravels chaotically. Messiah is fighting the need to finally mature and become a man. But will he mature in time to keep his and his brothers' secrets out of the ears of Detective Freemont? Shauka is more than content with his doting girlfriend and beautiful best friend. He has two women who love and protect him at all costs. Yet, when secrets are revealed, and he becomes dangerously entangled in the web of lies and deceit, no one will come out of their love triangle unscathed.
Jah, Shauka, and Messiah are intellects when it comes to the game. Yet, they have so much to figure out about women and love. On their journey to figuring it out, their quiet, loving sister delivers a blow that will make them aware that they have so much more to learn.
The Disciple brothers are respected men about their bag, but they are far from typical. Because of the damaging childhood that they endured, their hearts are wide open to love. However, opening their hearts to Yaz, Sariah, Faye, and Tory have also opened the floodgates of drama and hard decisions. Yet, these men are far from weak and are prepared for anything that tries to get in the way of those they love.

lets start with shauka!!! i hate that him & yaz are harboring their feelings for each other because of sariah.. who turned out to be a scandalous gold digging bitch! i hope shauka finds out everything & leaves her to be with that broke ass nigga. he deserves yaz!
jah. my boy has GONE through IT in this book! The fact that Mo ran him through the mud with his toxic drug addicting, friendship and almost snitched on them twice is beyond me! Also him and Faye and there relationship was stressful! I really hope that this baby is not for him, because that would literally ruin everything.
messiah.... honestly, he knew what he was getting himself into because he knew how Tori dealt with her issues with kid so to be surprised at her almost snitching to the detective is crazy. He should have left her and them kids where she had him fucked up because now he is, going to jail for murder!
I'm also here for Naija and Nardo's relationship I hope that Messiah gets over it and they're all won't be happy family again!

The secrets that came to light at that wedding was the icing on the cake. Either Disciple brother is dealing with there own drama. Jah should have known Moe was going to be a snake again but he did what he had to do. I’m glad Naija is finding love and friendship in Nardo. Shauka dodge a bullet as we all know his heart is with Yaz
Got to 25% and decided to check the end 🤞🏾Welp another “to be continued “! Ima stop and just wait for part 3. Hopefully there will be no more after 3. These authors killing me with these drawn out series🙄. It would be nice to know this ahead of time. Or maybe it was said and I just missed it smh.
I apologize from now my thoughts are all over!!!!! If you thought the first one was good this was one knocks it out the park. First off I love how we are given the option to read a recap or to jump straight in. I chose to jump straight in because I was coming STRAIGHT from book one! I was so happy that Jah put Moe’s sorry ass DOWN TO THE GROUND🪦He was gettting on my god damn nerves. AT FIRST I’m like oh cute loyalty “hE’s lIkE mY bRotHeR” Headass but at this point this Nigga was literally gonna fuck everything up he should’ve been murked the first damn time. (Renee trifling tho) I’m happy messiah choose to be with Tory because that will keep his ass out of trouble. Good thing he got a arrested sometimes all it takes is to realize you ain’t as untouchable as you think you are. IM SORRY I LOVE THE BROTHERS BUT THEY THINK THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT AND LIFE DONT WORK LIKE THAT. I’m sure he’ll get off and I’m rooting for him to. I knew Sariah ass wasn’t perfect but DAMN. I didn’t know she was basically just money hungry 💰😋honestly hopefully they just break up so they can go be with who they want to be with because it’s not each other. But Jah having MIA’s baby is fucking cold. Dumb shit you do when you angry should never be done. I don’t even read series!!!!!! That’s how good this oneis Let’s move on to the Finale.

Tristen went to go get his woman and to blow up her spot. Neither one should have wanted Sariah because she was a golddigger and she wasn’t loyal. I thought Sariah called the police on the brothers when they killed Kidd. When Shauka call off the wedding because we know he is, he should follow his heart and get with Yaz. Sariah took because she accepted his baby because she knows she cheating. I don’t think Mia is pregnant by Jah because if she was she wouldn’t have left town. If she was she would have been been rubbing in Faye’s face and been making Jah’s life a living hell. Faye better make Jah take a paternity test. Tory tried that when she thought Messiah ghosted her. And thought Messiah was going to kill her. Yaz was standing on her own, now she needs to be selfish and start putting herself first. I’m happy Najia didn’t kill herself she deserves some happiness and Nardo is it. Messiah needs to grow up because that’s his twin and she’s grown. Messiah came a long way. Buck had to let Jah find out on his own that Moe wasn’t nothing but a drugged addict, he had to kill his boy. Queen was all their mama. I really hope it’s nothing wrong with Jah. I want them all to get their persons and their happiness.
As Jah and Faye keep this groove going, Doon is soo suspicious but her girl Chloe has her back but that Sam is a hater! Faye does not see it but it written on the wall. The pressure Jah has on him is slowly breaking him down and every can see Moe is using but Jah cannot. Tory is missing her man Kidd who was a soldier with them Disciple brothers but decided to snitch. Messiah is in hot pursuit Of Tory but she is not having it. Meanwhile Yaz and Shauku discover their best friend to the end love triangle but I see unconditional love here for real! When the connect lets Jah know Moe is making bad moves and getting arrested, Jah is being put in a bad position. Blood over loyalty. When Naija finally reveals what happened at Karen and Miguel’s Messiah takes it soo hard. Uncle Bucks wife Queen is shot and all hell breaks loose. Many secrets will fall out of the closets and it won’t be nothin nice! There are going to be quite a few heartaches and heartbreaks. Naija is finding love, Faye and Jah will be rested, Messiah is learning about love and Shauku is going to really needing to reevaluate this relationship with Sariah. Part 3 is on!!!!!!
I liked it but everything was so drawn out lol I’m so tired of every little thing being repeated over and over… Love Faye and Jah together but how irresponsible of Jah to slip up and get Mia pregnant and possibly have a disease smh and FINALLY Sariah aka the snake being exposed lord I did not like that girl since the beginning I didn’t care how perfect the book made her seem and as for Sha and Yaz I love them both omg make them a couple already stop dragging it out … Naija and Nardo has my stamp of approval and as for Messiah how dumb could he be to keep that secret from his brothers to basically protect Tory what a dumb move I like Tory but the fact that she thought that almost snitching on Messiah didn’t mean that it would catch up with her still makes me look at her sideways … Hopefully the third book is better
I wasn’t intrigued with this book as I was the first book. I kind of skipped a lot of chapters. Too predictable. I only enjoyed reading Yaz, Najia, Shauka POV. I didn’t catch the storyline, it was like I was reading about some love sick people until the last few chapters. I never seem men so love sprung as these brothers, my Lawd. They couldn’t function without those women. It was boring to me and it could be because I’m not used to these kinds of books. I love drama and actions as well as romance. The first book threw me off. Hopefully book 3 will be better.
Shauka had a whole series of issues in his love triangle!!!...My heart broke for Yaz because her and Shauka lived in their heads rather than spkn their feeling to eachother!!!..Messiah and Tory are definitely in for a roller parties as they work to hate messiah from under the scrutiny of this charge!!!...The ache of having to kill Moe will certainly subside, but that was a lot to keep asking someone to save you when you kept slipping up like Moe was doing!!!...I was happy for Nijah because to be in the mind frame ahe was in definitely took strength!!!...
I absolutely loved this book! From reading and loving the first book, I expected this second one to be excellent also. And boy did MS Jessica deliver! I have just really been enjoying the second book. Its b so good that you kinda just get lost in the characters and all of what's going on. Never a boring page! The most shocking part of all was when Shaukas girl first reveals her true self. Now that I truly did NOT see coming. Can't wait till part 3 drops!
The Disciple brothers can't seem to get it together! Messiah and Tory! She opened up a can of worms claiming to know who murdered Kidd. Jah and Faye have trust issues and he is trying to be the rock for everyone while losing out on his peace! Najia and Nardo with the secret hook up. The most complicated issue is Sariah, and her secret lover, Yaz and Shauka! This is a great read so far. The ending, wow! I must see how this ends. Great read Jessica N. Watkins!
Well we have definitely been witness to some eye opening moments. The writer sets up the next episode so sweet that you are not going to see the curve ball until it comes across the plate. I loved the dept of friendship and the love for a brother. Also.I just new Sariah was not the sweet girl she portrayed, knew something wasn't right. I loved that everyone was coming full circle with who they were supposed to be with. I want uncle to get passed this pettiness and unite his family. This was stellar storytelling and it was just a really.good attention grabber.
I just knew something was up with Sarah she just marrying for money she'd not in love with Dhaka she may have love for him so happy Trusted showed up to the wedding. Now what evidence did they have to arrest Messiah, I hope Tory didn't slip up cause that will surely be the end of her. Part 3 needs to come soon because so many unanswered questions. Poor Faye her and Jagh finally back together and now this , Jessica is keeping us on edge with the Disciple boys.
Lawd I done darn near had a panic attack!! I can't take this 😫! First I'm so glad Tristan came through fighting for his woman like Dewayne from A Different World...but his outcome was definitely not the same 🤣 I just wanted Shakua to know he was making the wrong choice.....I knew Mia was gone pull a stunt cuz she a hater just like Sam was and I know whatever they got on Messiah ain't gone stick!! Bring on part 3!! Can't wait to see how this ends!
Jessica Watkins did not disappoint, as usual. The Disciple clan is truly something else and the secrets surrounding them are unmatched. This storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. As if they had not been through enough in part 1, part 2 bought more drama, deceit, and even love. I will be on the lookout for the next book because the Disciple world and the people around them has not stopped spinning yet! That cliffhanger...smh
All imma say is how dare youuuu !!! Lol this book was so good I was reading in between classes and everything lol I'm just finishing it at 6am && you going end it like that ?! All I know is My girl FAYE better tear that nigga up I love Jah but he was foul is hell...I definitely need Messiah outta that situation fr && I hope YAZ whoop sariah ass...sorry had to get that out lol overall this book was a 10/10...&& I can't wait for part 3
First, I’ll start by saying, who needs enemies when you have friends like Sam. That girl was the true definition of a hater. Man, that wedding had so many mishaps. First Sariah’s true love shows up to stop the wedding, then Messiah is arrested and Faye receives a message from her arch nemesis, Gia. I can’t wait to see what book three brings. Ms. Watkins brought us a well written story that flows well and kept my attention. Definitely worth reading.
While I love a great series, many can be put into a standalone if two at the most. When I realized there would be a third book, I was disappointed because it didn’t have to be drawn out for 3. The character development was good . However, there were a few typos and edits. A great editor could help with it. Overall book 2 was good, predictable but good. I know yaz/Shayla gonna get together, Faye/Jah gonna rekindle etc Hoping for a shake up in book 3 hopefully
Listen I like this author she really be saving the best for the end everything just hit the fan. The one time that I’ve always hated about this author is she recaps everything from the end of the book into the beginning of the next book. I would really appreciate it if she jumped right in to what’s happening next, I don’t need to reread the stories over again.
Dang eeeehhh when it rains it pours…Now the the cat is out of the bag about the baby Shakua can finally breath however Sariah has a secret of her own that’s probably why she was so forgiving when finding out the true identity of Yaz’s baby father…Hopefully Messiah can forgive Nardo…Hopefully Faye will stay with Jah after his betrayal the second time…Dang Messiah got arrested I hope he doesn’t get 20 years plus…Part 3 here I come
Invisible, had me locked in from beginning to end. Our brothers have overcome the trials and tribulations sounds good so bad but in the end, put them all back together someway somehow. I wonder what’s next for Messiah. And Tori and I wonder what’s gonna go on with Faye and her man not that that baby is in the picture. It doesn’t even matter I’m my way to book number three. I should find out so shall you.
It’s so juicy!!! How am I supposed to wait on the rest? Sariah has shocked me; I wasn’t ready. Shauka is the definition of the heart wants what the heart wants he just need to go get it. Messiah needs to stop the tantrums when it comes to Nardo cause I love him. 😂 Jah, Jah, Jah I knew that s**t was gonna catch up to you. 🤦🏾♀️
Sarah was a snake herself. I am so glad that oh boy came and stopped that wedding. Now he can go ahead a marry my girl. I wonder why he keep getting sick, I hope she is knocked up and he is getting her symptoms and not caught nothing. That detective is just jealous that he not giving her none no more.
Wow I would say worth the wait but it's been so long, I had to read book one again. I love these brothers, they love hard. What a mess between them and their ladies. Faye needs to get a paternity test before she kills Jay. Messiah and Tory what a mess, and as for the bride to be wow wow wow. Can't wait for book three. Please Jessica come quick
Come on with part 3! This book has held me in a chokehold for 3 days!! I knew that detective was coming for Messiah ! I like Nardo for Naija!! I think once Messiah gets out of his feelings , things will work out between them two.. Shauka and Yaz need to stop playing games ! Yeah I’m ready for part 3 nowwww!!!
This series got me in a serious chokehold. Like really my guys, ya'll going out like that. I need these women to woman up. Stand 10 toes down and let the men know you're not the 1 or the 2. Hopefully, 3 won't take too long to grace me with foolishness I'm so eager to dive into.
I gotta give Jessica her props. Again, the story kept me hooked from beginning to end. Hearing from new characters added mor layers in such a good way. This was even better than book 1. OMG! The suspense is real…I sometimes wish I was a speed reader, I can’t wait to get started on book 3.
Oh my goodness, this is such a good book. What's done in the dark always comes to the light. These brothers are very young but they have each other and along with their sister they hold tight. If you haven't read this series I would highly recommend it.
Omg so much sorrow 😩😩😩 but so many victories are coming because a lot more maturity and strength with them becoming more self aware 🥰 ! Moe was a lost cost honestly it was time to let him go ! The way jah did Faye was crazy 🤦🏾♀️ Sam was a loser for setting up her best friend but Faye got her get back tho in the end.
