Quinn Byrd is the definition of a free-spirit. She has a wanderlust that’s taken her all around the world, where she deeply relishes in experiencing new adventures and meeting new people. However, despite how friendly and personable she is, she prefers to keep her relationships casual and at a distance. The deepest part of her heart is where she holds her grief from losing her parents years ago, and it’s a side of her that no one sees. It’s not until a budding interest in photography prompts her to explore everything she’s ever known through a new lens that she ends up rediscovering new and old parts of herself.
Brian Sanderson’s complicated childhood forced him to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders at an early age. On top of running his deep-sea fishing charter company in Hawaii and tackling his mile long to-do list, his focus has been on making sure the people in his life are taken care of, while always putting himself last. When Quinn, his best friend’s little sister, starts coming around more often, encouraging him to loosen up and prioritize his own happiness, he can’t help but wonder if that includes her.
She’s spontaneous, spunky and passionate.
He’s disciplined, responsible and exudes a quiet confidence.
Is she capable of keeping him at a distance? Or is she brave enough to open up and let him into the most painful part of her past?
Megan Reinking is a wife and mother who lives in Minnesota, where she spends her days reading, writing, or chauffeuring her three children around town. She's a homebody who loves quiet, lazy days and connecting with family and friends.
This series is so fun, I feel like I’m on vacation on the island with them. I’ve always been curious about Quinn’s character, she wasn’t in the first two much but she seemed like such a light and fun character and I wanted to know more about her. Quinn had so much depth, she loves to travel and never gets too close to anyone. Until she starts spending time with Brian, one of her brothers best friends. Brian is the level-headed, hard working guy that everyone depends on. I liked watching him learn to say no to people and let other help him. The two of them really balanced each other out and brought out the best in each other. Their little adventures together were so fun.
Brothers best friend is a trope I really enjoy and I especially loved how it was done here. The main issue didn’t have to do with her brother not approving and he always actually supportive. I loved that change of pace so much!

The Perfect Tide is out now in paperback, ebook, and on KU!
Thank you to the author for the free electronic copy of this book. I was not required to leave a positive review and all thoughts are my own.
I adored Brian and Quinn’s story. The adventures they went on had me craving going on a Hawaiian vacation.
Quinn never gets close to anyone, but she feels a certain pull towards Brian and man did I adore how he was there for Quinn during her tough moments. Ugh they were so sweet with each other.
If you’re looking for a sweet, low angst, brothers best friend romance, look no further than The Perfect Tide. While this series can be read as stand alone, I highly recommend reading them in order!
Megan, I am so honored to have been an arc reader for your Hawaiian Getaway Series. It has been such a treat meeting your characters and seeing your writing grow! I am very lucky to call you a friend🫶🏻
Ok Review for The Perfect Tide:
Quinn’s story was my most anticipated of the 3! She is the free spirit, always traveling, thrill seeking little sister of John from The Ohana Cottage. We have only seen scenes where she crashes in for a quick visit and takes off again to her next destination.
Quinn is a spit fire FMC, with a (heavy) heart of gold. Sharing the same childhood trauma as John, she chose to run from it rather than find healthy ways to cope. In turn, she doesn’t date and she doesn’t settle down. Spontaneity is her middle name!
In comes Brian, John’s long time best friend. He is such a sweetheart MMC that absolutely won my heart. I really loved getting to know his character and his little life with his family and business. Brian will literally give the shirt off his back for anyone.

Megan writes the most beautiful characters that have deep internal struggles. She writes hard topics with such grace. This is a story about healing and finding love in the places you’d least expect!
At first I really want to thank the writer for the ARC copy 🥰
I fell in love with this book, the characters are so loveable, the way Brain helped Quinn in her grief was really>>>> I love how much Brain was understanding and flexible & also how Quinn challenged herself to move on. I feel like I was really in Ohio because the way the author described everything in the book🩵

🌊 Tattoos (this is just a thing for me- guys. Loooove a tatted MC) 🌊 Free Spirit Meets Type A 🌊 Brother’s Best Friend and Childhood Friends 🌊 Low Angst / Feel Good Read
The Concept:
Quinn- always searching for excitement and the next adrenaline rush just to avoid feeling the heaviness that she carries from the losses she has experienced; also has a strong aversion to serious/long-term relationships. Quinn is always moving and always looking to have fun in the most spontaneous ways. Enter Brian- her childhood friend who is also her brother’s best friend. Brian is straight-laced, always reliable, and can never say no to helping someone out. He’s a planner and a steady soul. When these two collide- neither will be quite the same.
My Thoughts:
This one was so enjoyable to read. It was such a happy read full of good vibes and lovely Hawaiian scenery descriptions. As always- Megan (the author) does an incredible job with scene descriptions. I feel like I can see everything perfectly just based on her scene descriptions. The way she captures Hawaii feels so real to me in all three books and this one was no different. I love a happy story with low angst because sometimes that’s exactly what you need in life. With that said- this story really captures Quinn’s journey through grief. Those feelings are not shied away from in this one- and I love the growth that we saw in Quinn there.
In all of Megan’s books- I feel like she doesn’t follow the typical or expected storyline/timeline. When I read her books- I am always expecting it to go one way- and she takes us somewhere else. I enjoy this because her books just feel unexpected for me in that way which is rare when you’ve read as many romances as I have.
(Total side note: I wanted more information on Brian’s brother Ethan. I felt like there was a lot of story to tell concerning his growth and his drastic change in attitude/behavior. Not going to lie- I’d be up for an Ethan book next.)
Out April 20, 2023
Thank you so much to Megan Reinking for providing this ARC to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I had the honor to beta read The Summer Break last summer and thought I couldn’t love any characters in this series more than I did Matt and Paige. *In walks Brian and Quinn*
This book can be a standalone, however, if you haven’t read the previous two books in the Hawaiian Getaway Series, the opening scene catches you up on events from the first two…and it’s a scene we’ve been waiting for!
Brian seems to be enjoying life to it’s fullest. He’s a good looking local who has a heart of gold and a successful boat charter business. He is more than willing to help anybody, including his family. Saying no seems impossible for this routine oriented “Say yes” guy.
Quinn is a free bird. After losing both of her parents, her soul’s unrest has manifested into her traveling the world, never staying anywhere long enough to let roots grab hold. She’s beautiful, carefree, and Brian’s best friend’s sister.
Quinn has always been off limits. But after a long time away and some quality time together, the two start to notice things that they definitely shouldn’t be about each other.
The tension and the forbidden love part of this had me turning pages. I couldn’t wait to find the part where John, the brother, would find out about the impending feelings and what he would say about it!
We watch Quinn and Brian grow closer in friendship and root for them to become more. As they grow closer, they both become more vulnerable. But as their walls come down, the pain and grief floods into their new relationship.
My heart broke as I watched Quinn wrestle with her grief. But Brian, oh Brian, he wasn’t there to make the grief better, instead showed Quinn that he was a safe place and a hand to hold while she opened up the rawest parts of herself.
The tone for this book is different from The Summer Break, but we still get the cute quips and sarcasm from our favorites from the past.
This is a beautiful story about healing at it’s most transparent stage and Megan does such a beautiful job walking through the grief with these characters.
Is Quinn is able to plant roots? Ir is nothing or no one able to keep her restrained?
I love that this is dual POV so the reader gets to feel all the emotions of the two MCs and smile and grieve along with them. Quinn is a free spirited friendly woman but she had always kept her relationship at a distance. Quinn and her older brother John were just in their teens when they lost their parents to a car accident. Its been years but deep inside Quinn still grieves and she distracts herself by traveling around the world and meeting new people. Brian had a very difficult childhood when his father leaves their mother. He had always put others first above his own happiness and had to take responsibility at an early age taking care of little brother while his mom worked extra shifts. As his best friend's sister Quinn had always been off limits for Brian. But when they start spending more time together they start noticing things about each other that they haven't before. Quinn and Brian are complete opposites. I love how Quinn encourages Brian to loosen up and how Brian always supports Quinn helping her through her grieving. Both MCs are so likable and I loved how they slowly fell in love with each other
This book is as beautiful on the cover as the writing on the inside! It’s the third book in Megan’s Hawaiian Getaway Series and might be my favorite so far!
As soon as I finished the first page - I was hooked. I ended up reading this in a day and was so sad when it ended. Brian and Quinn are absolute perfection 🥰
Brian is her brothers best friend and they’ve known each other their whole lives. He takes care of everyone in his life - except himself - and is a complete yes man (he feels guilty saying no). Honestly, he reminded me so much of my husband in those facts that it might be part of why I fell so hard for him 😂😅
Quinn is his complete opposite. She is a free-spirit. Constantly exploring the world but never settling somewhere long enough to create a home. Since her parents died when she was young, she’s been running and no one seemed to notice.
Until Brian did.
Without spoiling this masterpiece, Quinn and Brian’s relationship will have your eyes glued to the page and wish you could find love on a Hawaiian island - can you say romantic sunsets?! 🌅
The Perfect Tide is available for preorder now! Publish Date is 4/20 🌸
This series just keeps getting better and better! This is my favorite so far! I love the balance of Quinn being a free spirit who loves to travel and Brian being the super dependable friend who hasn’t ever left home. He’s her brother’s best friend, and she’s finally back home trying to figure out the next step in her life while also finally working through her grief over losing both her parents. Brian might just be one of my favorite MMC’s I’ve ever read. He’s just such a solid presence and always ready to catch her when she falls. Everything about this book was just so good! It was the perfect mix of emotional and lighthearted.

REVIEW:
Thank you to Megan for the chance to Beta Read her newest book, The Perfect Tide that will release on 4/20/23.
This is the third book in The Hawaiian Getaway series, however, each can be read as a standalone.
In this book, we are introduced to Quinn, the free spirit who can’t stay in one place more than a few months. Her itch to travel and explore never dies. She doesn’t do long term relationships because that means settling down and staying put. Her last relationship took her to Alaska and she broke that off when he wanted to get serious. Quinn thinks her travel bug is her personality, but is it?
Brian is a the most wholesome man. Desired by women on the island but not a player. Nicest guy in the world and can’t say no to anyone. Father figure to his brother and owner of his own business providing deep sea fishing and snorkel adventures to the tourists. Never putting himself first, he carries the world on his shoulders and never complains.
While Quinn’s brother and sister-in-law, John and Mia, are on their honeymoon, Quinn needs some help with getting to a spot for her new passion, photography. She turns to Brian because of his boat and it’s perfect but they start to fall for each other. Never for the long term, right? Or can Quinn and her spontaneous nature convince Brian she’s the perfect yin to his yang. Can Quinn finally see she’s found a home in someone who grounds her and helps her cope with so many things she’s been running from?
This closed door romance is swoon worthy, having me laugh and become so attached to these characters. This might be Megan’s best book yet.
Quinn Byrd -a true free-spirit, always travelling around the world and going on new adventures. Brian Sanderson -fisherman extraordinaire, but also a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, always willing to lend a hand but never accepting one in return. Suddenly Quinn finds herself spending more time with Brian, her brother's best friend, and encouraging him to go on adventures with her and make time for himself instead of taking care of everyone else. Can Quinn keep her feet on the ground long enough for a romance with Brian to have a chance? Can Brian start living life for himself and find happiness with his best friend's little sister?
-------------------------------
This was a great read through and through. It is full of emotions, family, adventures and romance. It's a true journey to Hawaii and full of good vibes.
I like that this book did not follow any typical storyline. It was cool to see the stereotypical roles reversed in this story; this time the female protagonist is the free-spirit, not wanting to settle down type and the male protagonist is settled with roots and his own business.
I started reading this book because of the Brother's Best Friend trope, so I was waiting in anticipation for Quinn's brother to find out about the budding romance and had several moments where I yelled out for Quinn to tell him already. Their relationship started off fun but when it started turning serious I was on the edge of my seat waiting for things to happen only for Quinn to veer off course, adding more excitement.
Through the whole story we got to see the struggles both Quinn and Brian have faced in their lives, struggles and trauma that shaped them into who they are, which made the story more relatable and easy to connect to. The topic of grief was not shied away from as we see Quinn struggle to deal with the ever-present grief in her life and we get to see her grow and start accepting it with the help of Brian, who is very patient with her. Brian helping Quinn navigate through her grief and helping her move on step-by-step was so heartwarming.
I'm not a fan of Dual POV books, but The Perfect Tide was so well written that there were no clunky transitions or re-telling the story from the other POV that the Dual POV flowed smoothly.
I would highly recommend reading this book and the whole Hawaiian Getaway series.
received an ARC for this beauty in exchange for an honest review ✨️
🌊first of all, look at the cover 🥺 it's sooo gorgeous plss😭 the colors go soo well together like whaatt
🌊after we took a second to fantasize about the cover, let's get onto the review!
🌊I loved how this book involved both of the characters with something that happened to them in the past , and with Quinn still not getting over with the loss of her parents.
🌊how Brian would support and always be there for Quinn and she would make him less selfless and make more time for himself was amazing to read!
🌊I love when there's a part of grief that one ( or both) of the characters struggle with, it makes the story more realistic in my opinion.
🌊also can I live in a house like Brian's? it literally sounds like THE dream! 😭🤩
🌊a shout out for Megan for making a good brother's best friend trope that didn't make it childish or frustrating ( don't wanna explain more in case you might consider it as a spoiler)
🌊on another note, the dual pov in my opinion was great! I felt the chapters were disturbuted out evenly to both povs.
🌊overall, this was a great beach read, and also a good book to get you out of a reading slump.
🌊TROPES AND STUFF: - dual pov - brother's best friend - a male lead with tattooed arms (ahhhh) - beach read - opposites attract - childhood friends to lovers - he has dimples 😫
🌊QUOTES I LOVED:
• "I keep my gaze on her, wholeheartedly convinced that my view is better." • "Don’t you dare apologize,” he says firmly. “I’m here for you, Quinn. Any way you need me to be.” • "I promise to live a life of adventure with you. To lift you up and watch you fly, but then be your steady rock when you need a safe place to land.” • “aloha au iā ʻoe mau loa. I love you forever.”
* thank you Megan Reinking for a chance to read this earlier ❤️ it was an enjoyable read!
This was a great follow up to Megan’s other two books! I can tell how her writing has developed, the story telling was good, all of the emotions that Quinn was feeling felt fleshed out and honest. It was a good book!
I think I liked this one the most. Brian and Quinn were sweet and they balanced each other so well. They both had a lot of things they were holding onto from their past. Quinn was still heavily grieving her parents and didn’t really know how to do it properly. And Brian was the guy everyone could count on, because since his father left he had to be that guy. Once they got together they were able to see that what they were doing wasn’t quite as sustainable as they thought.
I did like Quinn and Brian together. They were complete opposites. She is free as a bird and he couldn’t be more cemented in his life at home. But they felt something and ran with it, and it ended up being so good for them.
There was no tension which IS good because they seemed so easy and they fit together so well. And listen I love that there wasn’t a third act break up and they were so good together! But sometimes a little tension is good. But it did all make sense, they got to grow and learn things about themselves all while still staying true to themselves! It was good!
Thank you so much to Megan Reinking for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
3.75 🌟 rounded up cause it was good and I liked it more than the other two, but I was still wanting more. Quinn and Brian individually and separately were so much more likable than the other couples.
Thank you to Megan Reinking for the ARC of The Perfect Tide!
The Perfect Tide is a great little escape from reality. With the tropical setting and gentle characters, It was a nice, light story that would be great for anyone looking for a dual POV, low spice romance read with an amazing Hawaiian setting.
I have not previously read any Megan Reinking books, but the Perfect Tide was a great introduction to her books and style of writing. I’m also a big fan of the illustrated cartoonish covers that give you the first peek into the story.
This book follows Quinn and Brian who were childhood friends turned lovers in their adult years. Quinn wants to travel the world and just have fun in order to keep the grief of losing her parents at bay. Brian on the other hand is the dependable, always there when you need him type of guy struggling to break his rigid schedules and make time to take care of himself.
But when the two reconnect and begin to spend time with each other, they both start to face the things that have been haunting them emotionally, support each other through the journey and just happen to fall in love along the way.
Not to mention, the story has the following: -Brother’s best friend trope -Tropical setting -Romance but no spice / closed door -No final act breakup or miscommunication -Dual POV -Childhood friends to lovers
Thanks again to Megan Reinking for a chance to read this before it comes out on 4/20/23!
This is book 3 in Megan's Hawaiian Getaway Series but can be completely read as a stand-alone read. But why would you really want to miss out on the cuteness that is this entire series? This couple was completely adorable. I am a super big fan of a man who falls hard and goes out of his way to be there for his love interest...and Brian did all that plus more! He has feelings for Quinn, his best friend's sister. The forbidden best friend sister but the two of them are just too sweet with one another. Brian is the sweet, sensitive, always taking care of everyone guy. He's been the man in his family when his father left him and his mom and brother so when Quinn needs some support, he is right there for her. Quinn is the free spirited, hard to stay in one place, adventurous woman who is struggling with losing her parents at a young age and never fully dealt with the trauma that was left behind. Can she move past the walls she has built out of reinforced on cement? Can Brian move past the un-written rule of never dating your best friend's sister? Will Quinn even stay around long enough to see where a relationship could go between these two? If you love The Golden Girls, adventurous dates, forbidden kisses, self-discovery, brother's best friend you will adore this read!
Thank you, Megan, for my free eBook! It was not expected for me to leave positive feedback, these opinions are 100% my own.
This book focuses on Quinn, an adventurous soul who likes to travel and not feel tied down to any one location, and Brian, Quinn's brothers best friend who has always spent more time focusing on others than on himself. Quinn's parents died when she was younger and she never fully got over the pain of losing them. While she has been able to develop close friendships, she has not been able to fully dive into relationships in fear of losing more people she loves. Quinn and Brian start spending more time together and realize they both are attracted to the other, but don't know if they have the ability to let down their habits to create a real relationship. I thought this book was super cute! I also loved that there was no last scene breakup drama over random miscommunication. It made it feel more realistic as a relationship trying to grow. I felt like I was experiencing the growth of the characters as it was happening. I loved the portrayal of Brian because he was genuinely interested in ensuring Quinn was comfortable and happy with everything that was happening. I feel like a lot of books where a female character has problems she's dealing with the main guy acts like he is supporting her, but then gets angry at what that process looks like. I really liked how much effort and support Brian put into helping Quinn grow.
The Perfect Tide is the perfect summer read! This is the 3rd book in the Hawaiian Getaway Series. I started from the beginning in this series, and I suggest everyone do so. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you get so much character building and context in each book that leads you to the next. You get to see Megan's growth in each story, and that is always my favorite part of a series. Obsessed with the amount of details in the setting, I felt as though I was in Hawaii myself. Told from a dual POV, which is always a favorite of mine. I love all the characters and am so grateful to be able to read and review this sweet love story!!
It's such a sweet story of how a spontaneous and free spirited woman has to face the grief that haunts her in order to allow herself to open up and love. How a steady and disciplined man has to step out of his comfort zone, be patient for love, and live life more freely. I enjoyed seeing the character development of Brian and Quinn. They had plenty to work through and showed true growth throughout the book. Complete opposites, but I was rooting for them. His patience and understanding is to die for!
I received this as an ARC and this is my honest review. I absolutely loved this book!
I love reading a story and you can visually see the storyline so vividly. This takes place in Hawaii so you instantly feel the beach vibe.
We follow commitment phobe, Quinn(who is the sister of Matt, book 1 in the series) and always says yes and helpful to anyone, Brian.
Quinn has always battled being in the same place for a long time and hadn’t had a long meaningful relationship and this all stems from the fear of losing someone she loved again. She lost her parents when she was younger and has never faced this tragic loss.
Brian is the guy who helps everyone and anyone. Never says no, and is always there. He is the perfect cinnamon roll man!
He is there for Quinn when she has anxiety attacks. He is patient and so kind.
What I loved about this story is how there was growth in characters and their storyline was natural and was at a perfect pace.
This book was beautiful. Beautifully written. And just overall a beautiful story about grief and love. I connected with Quinn’s character from the start. She is an adventurous adrenaline seeker who would rather chase new highs than sit too long with the lows. The way the quiet sweet (delightfully tattooed) Brian was able to just see past Quinn’s walls and support her through her grief was truly so special to read about.
I had so many emotions throughout this book. The main one being a deep understanding of loss and grieving. This book reminded me that there is no time frame on grieving, and it’s okay to accept support and to actually TALK about it.
With that being said, each of the books in this series I have said “this one is my favorite!!!” and I can honestly say they’re all my favorite but The Perfect Tide is the one that will hold a special place in my little bookish heart.
I am so so grateful to have received an arc to read and review before release date! This was a top tier read for this year.
I adore the Hawaiian getaway series by Megan, it is so sweet and fun. This series of books are interconnected standalone’s about different characters in the same friends/family group.
I love a solid best friend’s sister story and Brian and Quinn’s story did not disappoint. They both bring the sunshine to those around them, but I also love that we get to see some of the dark and the struggles of grief that Quinn is dealing with.
The honest and raw depiction of both anxiety and grief took this story to a deeper level which I really appreciated. But even so the books in this series always feel like a breath of fresh air and make for a great palette cleanser between heavier or more intricate books (like those with high fantasy or dark romance).
I also love that Megan writes such great romances that you don’t even miss the spice when it fades to black or the door closes. The steamy kisses and obvious chemistry is enough to keep you wanting to keep reading!
I’m so glad I was able to nab yet another ARC from this author so I could get in ahead of the curve to read it! It’s officially out (released on 4/20) and you can get it on KU, kindle, and paperback!
I love a cute Hawaii based romance and The Hawaiian Getaway series is perfect for it. The descriptions of the landscape and beaches are done very well and so are the descriptions of the food and drinks that are popular on the island. I really enjoyed seeing Quinn’s character develop and slowly learn to trust Brian and let him in. It was a lot more believable than cookie cutter, sunshine and rainbows romance books and made for a really heartwarming read. I wish we got to see more first hand accounts from Quinn when she travels to Africa with scenes of her missing Brian, something she has never been able to do in her past travels because she never let herself get close to anyone. Overall, this was a nice, palatable read and I enjoyed seeing the characters from The Ohana Cottage and The Summer Break after the conclusion of their stories. The Perfect Tide will be available for purchase on Amazon on April 20th!

4.5!✨ Ugh this series has my whole heart. This is the 3rd book in the Hawaiian getaway series!! If you’re looking for a no spice series with lots of good tropes- this is for you! I felt all the summer vibes. This is a brothers best friend trope and Quinn and Brian’s story. I’ve loved both Quinn and Brian from the start and I’m so happy they are together. Quinn was dealing with the grief she had from the loss of her parents in this story, but the fact that Brian helped heal that and was her comfort was TOO GOOD. I love Brian and how manly and protective he is! I loved seeing the growth of his brother Ethan as well- i was rooting for him! Seeing the other characters from the other books and seeing them all as one big family melted my heart. The ending of this read was also so special and so sweet. Some parts were a bit slow and a bit boring which were hard to read through which is my 4.5 rating!
This series is like a warm hug… a little Hawaiian escape. As someone who loves visiting Hawaii, Megan’s words transport me there every time. And with each book, I feel like it just gets better and better.
Aside from the glorious setting, this story was full of all the feels. I felt the butterflies right along with Brian & Quinn. I felt all the grief Quinn was walking through.
And a great brother’s best friend story! The ease they have with each other, while also finding that’s still so much to discover… perfection.
Of course we see all our favorites from the first 2 books. I especially loved John as he navigated everything with his sister and best friend in this book.
Thank you Megan for the chance to read an advance copy… can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it.
Loved the third book in this series! Best friend’s little sister trope, and they’ve known each other since they were little kids. This slow burn is set in Hawaii like the first two books.
Really enjoyed the build-up of this relationship and revisiting with previous characters. There were funny moments and emotional moments as well, but funny won out. Also liked that there wasn’t really any angst or major issues between the two main characters. Just a good solid romcom!
(And really hoping the author plans to do Ethan’s story next!)
Thanks to Megan Reinking for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Watch for The Perfect Tide to come out on April 20, 2023!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed this! It was cozy, beachy, and so sweet! I loved how the characters from the other two books in the series are woven into this book, but you also don’t have to read or remember the other two books to read + enjoy this one. Brian is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻, and I was rooting for him and Quinn the entire time. It was the perfect mix of sweet and real for a rom com. 😊
Be prepared to wanna fly to Hawaii immediately after reading. ✈️
what to expect: 🌊 Hawaiian setting 🌊 brothers best friend 🌊 Free Spirit Meets Type A 🌊 Low Angst / Feel Good Read
Wow. This is my first book by Megan Reinking, and I am blown away. I will be going back and reading the first 2 in this series!
I was unaware of how much I would resonate with this book. The main characters, Quinn and Brian, are absolutely adorable together! I have quite a bit in common with Quinn (she lost important people in her life and is having a hard time coping with it - as I have). This book brought out a lot of emotions but was so light-hearted and funny!
I received this book for free as an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
Ahh this series has my heart! This story follows Quinn and Brian! And I loved Brian so much🤭 I felt like I related to Quinn and loved how adventurous and fun she was! I did feel this one was a little more rushed than the rest of her books but I loved it so much!!
Read if you like- ✨brothers best friend ✨adventures🤭 ✨Pina Coladas🙈 ✨friends to lovers ✨opposites attract ✨tropical settings! (Hawaii!)
TW- This book does touch a little on grief, it has little moments!!
Absolutely obsessed. I am so sad I’m finished with all that Megan Reinking has written so far. From the picturesque setting to the incredible best friends this author does everything well. She has always done a great job of handling serious topics while adding a beautiful romance to it. I was a little scared that this would be “the guy saved me” which is a little ick for me cause you don’t need a man to save you😂 but the author did a great job of the female MC saving herself WHILE falling in love. Cannot recommend this series enough!!
