His father is dying. I know because we're told about 50 times. The plot is simplistic. The characters are 2 dimensional at best. I didn't care about anyone in here, and as I type my review after just reading it I can't recall the female love interests name. To say the story is forgettable is an understatement.

The blurb had me hooked and I wanted to find a new author in this genre.
I really enjoyed this mafia romance. Nothing really original (Bad mafia killer forced to marry and produce an heir, smart sweet daughter used as payment for her father’s debt, etc, etc)
Still, I liked this author’s writing style and I appreciated the lack of cheating and Vlad’s patience when it came to Bella.
I hated her selfish father but thought the resolution at the end was satisfying.
I think a weak spot was the climatic reveal of the traitor and how that played out. Kinda seemed too easy an ending, yet I was happy with the results.

Que estrés solo encontrarlo en español, aquí en la aplicación.
Pero buenooo.
Le daremos 2.5 estrellas.
Es que es corto, y no logra desarrollar nada. No tengo mucho que opinar por que tampoco es como que te de mucho “material”.
Pero no está malo, ni es aburrido. Repito, sirve para entretener y no decepciona por la cantidad de páginas que tiene.
Eso es todo, fin.
Pd. Tengo miedo de no estarlos leyendo en orden y me causa ansiedad. 🥹🤍

Vladimir needs to marry and his father gives him a list to collect debt from. Bella's father is on the top of the list and when he sees Bella, her fate is sealed. I loved Vlad's inner dialogues on how he comes to terms with dealing with Bella especially his suffering while she is unwilling as he refuses to force her in to his bed. Bella is no pushover and does not fall head over heels for Vlad straight away, instead she makes him earn the right into her bed, her love, trust and devotion.

Couple of surprises towards the end that I thought needed some fleshing out. Vladimir and Bella's growth as individuals as well as a couple was well written and the author does a great job to bring us a softer side of the Mafia. The book was lighthearted and fun and truly a gem. Highly recommended read.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the mafia romance between Vlad and Bella. She is his ticket to the head of the family. All she is trying to do is save her family. Neither ever expected to develop feelings for the other. She is thrust into a world she did not want any part of. If she is going to survive she will have to learn to trust the man who runs that world. The story is full of drama, suspense, danger, lust and finally love.

Quick Read

A really, good, quick read is the main attraction for this forced mafia marriage. " Marry me or your father dies," Vlad said in a deadpan voice. What comes first in a marriage started that way? Love, lust, like, respect, fear, honor or trust? Could you love a man with violence in his heart? Bella found a way to forgive and to create family with Vlad, in spite of the violence that would always be around them.

A captivating read! The story-line is well written, fast pace, consistent, engaging, and well developed with drama, humour, suspense, and twists and turns. The characters are likeable and perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is sizzling. A recommended read!

Une petite histoire sympa dans l’univers de la mafia.

Vladimir est un homme dur et froid mais on voit son évolution au contact de Bella.
Bella est vraiment mims et elle se laisse pas faire.
J’aime bien leur couple.

Une histoire basique mais ça fait l’affaire pour une lecture sympa sans prise de tête.

Good story

Bratva love stories are the best. Vladimir and Bella’s story was a good one. Their relationship started out rocky but eventually they fell for each. What started as a business relationship turned into a HEA.

This was a painful read. Very basic storyline and characters A definite lack of chemistry between the main characters. His father was dying at the beginning of the book of which we a reminded too many times, yet, the father is still alive at the end of the book. Time I will never get back DIRE!!!
