DNF I was hoping for a easy read as a great in-between read but unfortunately it just wasn't doing it for me. Gave up at 30%, IDK the writing felt weird in this one.

The Vampire and the Slayer . . .
Maddie , a werewolf, had a few drinks, but instead of ending up in a sexy one-night-stand with a dreamy guy, she was surrounded by bloodthirsty vampires intending to rip her apart. As a vampire hunter, she was tasked with slaying vampires who killed the innocent. She had done her job but the vampire’s mate gathered the others to come after her for revenge. Her mate, not known to her until this moment, rescued her. Then she found someone had put a hit on him! Gabriel is a Vampire King, so she didn’t figure that he would go out and attack humans. The slayer sent after him is Maddie’s best friend Chris and the Academy’s top slayer! This could get messy. So she knocked Gabriel out and dragged him to a borrowed cabin to hide out and keep him safe. Her friends are out looking for whoever put the hit on Gabriel to bring this to an end before someone gets hurt! And if they find the Academy she works for has been compromised, has she been killing innocents? Is there any way out of this bad situation? Can she save her mate?
There is plenty going on in this storyline, and interspersing it with humor makes it perfect! Grab your copy and see if Fate’s odd choice of this couple works out or ends in tragedy.

This was a fab addition to the series and you definitely can expect a great deal of sass, humour, chemistry, action and steamy romance when you dive into this fun read. Maggie is a wolf shifter and a vampire hunter. Turns out her fated mate is Gabriel and he's not only a vampire but the vampire king ;P She takes steps to keep him safe when she finds out there's a hit on him and I love that she's the tough one, not a damsel ;D So much to enjoy with this page turning story and I can't wait for the next one to see how things continue to unfold for the over arching plot. Good fun!

been waiting so long for another glimpse of Vlad and Anna, so I was happy to see them costarring in this intense romance and drama with the vampire slayer and the vampire king, because of course his mate is a slayer
throw in some complications with the slayer contract system, a few werewolves, some very unwelcome and nasty witches, along with a few other unexpected supes - twisted fated mates, mayhem and more storyline twists - steamy action and drama and suspense!

This was a crazy book, but in a good way. It's crazy how Maddie and Gabriel are mates. Oh, it broke my heart how Maddie almost died. I wanted to throat punch, Chris, lol. But I would have done the same thing Maddie did if my mate had a bounty on his head. I laughed when she was able to knock Gabriel out. I'm glad her friends stayed and didn't leave or get mad like Chris did. But it warmed my heart when everyone had her back and helped her fight and take care of her. Anna cracks me up with the stuff that she does and pulls, lol.

This is one of my favorites, all the books in this series is great, and I cant wait to read the rest.
In this book Maggie is a badass, I love that she is the one who protects her mate, she is strong and at the same time deals with emotional damage.
She discover that her family is larger than she think.
I recommend this whole series if you like sass, humor, chemistry and action.

I was so not expecting this, but I am awed by this amazing story. Maddie is a werewolf and her mate is Gabriel the Vampire king, and that is a huge surprise for her. Well to say this is a fantastic Paranormal Romance, is the truth for me. I highly recommend for Rom Com lovers. Loved the action and the characters, and the Great story!!! No Spoilers! Great Read!.

Dating Monsters series is a lot of fun
I’ve really enjoyed the first six books in this series (which includes the 3 part vampire series and the 3 part werewolf series). This one is great too. The entire series is fun and exciting, with lots of paranormal romance and strong heroines. My only complaint with this one is that we didn’t get the entire back story told the way the other two trilogies did. Just a brief summary. Other than that, this trilogy is off to a great start.

Non-stop paranormal action!

3 stars since it wad a DNF early on. I don't necessarily like leaving a star rating for what I don't finish so I go middle of the board. the out of place exercise advice, and quirky inner running commentary made me give up on this quickly. I just made myself finish a book I didn't like and couldn't do it again.

Maggie is a werewolf/vampire slayer and she's found her mate. Gabriel is a vampire and not just any vampire, but their King. Fate doesn't get mates wrong, right? Friends and enemies and a lot of action. This is a great addition to this series and I can't wait to read more!
