Many followers of Jesus have plans for family, finances, and career, but very few have a spiritual plan to grow closer to Jesus. We must be intentional in order to hear from God, grow in faith, and form good habits that lead to a meaningful life.
Going beyond the surface level, pastor Noah Herrin gives you ten tangible practices that will plunge you into the depths of a real relationship with Jesus. Simple but powerful, these ten small choices will lead to big changes, including
· rising in influence from the ashes of insecurity · resting where you once were striving · standing firm in faith when surrounded by struggles · enjoying community instead of being alone
In just minutes a day, you can intentionally develop habits that shift your relationship with Jesus from duty to delight--and run with purpose in a world that wants you to wander.
I was meant to FINISH this book in a day cause it was so good!!! But my time management wasn’t good 😂 AND I wanted to savor each bit cause it was so good!
Wow, I’ve never read a book like this! Noah’s other book, Viral Jesus is one of my favorites as well! This book has encouraged me so much in my walk with the Lord, like truly and I’m more excited to grow deeper in my walk with the Lord!!
On of the things I loved most about it was how much scripture Noah added. And the reference of that verse as well! I could open it next to my Bible as like a devotional and open my Bible to the scripture where that chapter had me!
I have a NEW kingdom perspective, and new desires in my walk with the Lord! Noah you did an amazing job with this book and it has pushed me towards the cross so much!
As a 16 year old, life is hard and trying to keep the Lord first is difficult, but I learned the importance of it and now I wanna open up my Bible every morning. everything taught me how essential everything is. Especially like tithing and my heart towards that, earning money can be dangerous as I don’t want my heart to be prideful with it! But now I have a new perspective of Gods kingdom and tithing and just how much the Lord gives to us, we should want to give back to him!
One other thing that I loved was i so felt like the Lord was speaking to me through the whole book, not much so Noah! Don’t get me wrong Noah, you were funny😂 But I so felt the Lord using Noah to speak, but in a . Way where it was so Holy Spirit written it was all from the Lord! And that’s what I loved most! Because I’ve read a lot of a Christian books, and this book is different. And I think that’s what Noah’s Goal was, to let God be the center and for him to shine through Noah and that’s what I saw!
Thank you Noah for Encouraging me in my walk with the Lord! And for Being obedient to what the Lord called you to do! I’m going to read the book all over again now!!
For a long time I considered Atomic Habits by James Clear to be my favorite book. After reading this one I think I may have a new favorite! Noah Herrin is an engaging and talented writer. I liked the structure of this book and have already been incorporating the holy habits from his book into my life. Can’t recommend this enough if you are looking to grow your faith in effective and lasting ways!
This is a super good book! It’s relatable and the habits are practical. Habits I’ll be implementing immediately. This book was well written, funny, sincere and all about Jesus! I loved it.
This was a very solid book on certain spiritual disciplines or habits we should seek to apply to our lives! I did feel that some of the chapters, or habits, had more valuable content than others, but overall this was a simple but solid book! I especially loved his use of storytelling from his own life and connecting that to the main idea presented at each chapter. Very enjoyable and helpful. I’ll be using this as a resource for my student ministry.

. There is nothing new in this book. All of these habits you have heard before. But the way the author puts them together, the stories he tells to bring his message home, make this book.
I read a digital copy from my local library. I loved it so much that I will be purchasing a physical copy so I can revisit it regularly, highlight all the wise nuggets, and take notes in the margins!
“If your city is going to be changed for Jesus, no one else is coming. Reinforcements are not on the way… it’s up to us now.” Noah Herrin takes this exact quote and challenge to us and gives us 10 holy habits to start practicing how to start living more like Christ. I couldn’t recommend this book enough.
Listened to this on audible on my drive today and LOVED this. Resonated so much. Many of these habits are things I am either currently doing or have had on my mind to work on. I’m so glad I grabbed the audible so I can re-listen anytime!
I enjoyed this book. I thought that Noah made a really great book with practical steps to living out each habit. I definitely think it is more of a popular level read and that’s why I gave it 5 stars. A great book for someone looking to start developing themselves as a Christian.

simple, to the point, but so good!! he’s not saying anything incredibly new or profound, but it’s easy to read and important, and i appreciate that! 100% worth a read
Very informative. I love his writing style and took away a lot of great information as I grow my relationship with the lord. Can't wait for my husband to read so we can chat about it!
Very light read. Connects well with the sermon series this pastor did at his church. Realistic ideas to fill your focus of Christ and not pointless things.
A good read. Simple outline of 10 easy habits to grow closer to God, be set apart, and strive for holiness in each day. My favorite was … celebrate everything!! God is good!
I really enjoyed this book!!!! It wasn’t necessarily anything groundbreaking but definitely had great, applicable steps to grow your spiritual disciplines!
This is a great book that establishes good foundations for faith that also makes simple (yet significant) truths feel fresh. Practical but powerful messages.
