This is a level 1 book which was great practice for my son. It has many sight words in it and good pictures. He also had fun learning about why Earth day is celebrated and how dirt is important for the Earth.

I admit it, I'm a fan of Sid the Science Kid (though I can't believe I didn't know until now that it's associated with Jim Henson Studios). This was a fun little story about dirt that has been read and re-read.

I only read it because it was short. In my opinion it was the worst book I have ever read.
