Pour la dixième édition du Festival « Paris des femmes », neuf autrices contemporaines ont répondu à une commande d’écriture sur le thème : « Ruptures ». Issues du monde des lettres, du cinéma, de la mode, de la chanson, elles interrogent chacune à leur manière le sens à donner à cet instant si particulier qui vient, de la séparation à la crise, bouleverser une vie personnelle ou une destinée collective et analysent la remise en question qui en découle. Qu’elle s’exprime à travers une déchirure, un renoncement ou qu’elle soit un obstacle, une libération, un recommencement, la rupture peut revêtir de multiples visages, selon la valeur qu’on lui prête. Textes de Kaouther Adimi, Barbara Carlotti, Julia Deck, Irène Jacob, Noémie Lvovsky, Blandine Rinkel, Olivia Rosenthal, Nathalie Rykiel, Ruth Zylberman. Kaouther Adimi was born in Alger, Algeria, in 1986. From the age of 4 to the age of 8, she lived with her family in Grenoble, France. It's during this period that she discovered the pleasure of reading, by going to the public library every week with her dad
In 1994, she returned to Algeria, which was then under the influence of terrorism. Having very few opportunities to read, she started to write her own stories.
While she was studying in the Alger university, she entered a writing contest organized by the French Institute, for the young writers in Muret (Haute-Garonne). The short story she submitted held the attention of the jury who published it in a collection alongside the other laureates' productions. Thanks to this contest, she was invited to Muret then Toulouse and finally Paris, where she met with les éditions Barzakh.
She has a degree in modern literature and human resources management.
In 2009, she wrote her first novel L'envers des autres. The same year, she left Alger for Paris.
She worked for a time in the human resources field for L'Oréal. Now, she's working for the L'Oreal Foundation as skincare program supervisor.

Lu en partie, c'est assez inégal, certains textes sont intéressants (ex Kaouther Adimi), d'autres beaucoup moins.
