This workbook was absolutely essential to my learning of the Japanese language. Learning to write the basic kana characters really made me enthusiastic about learning more. If you have any interest in learning this language, this is a great workbook to start with. It doesn't give you much practice on vocabulary, grammar, etc. but it will teach you the basic kana needed to read Japanese (does not include the very complicated and numerous Kanji...that's something different).

Good for the practice of writing your Hiragana and Katakana symbols. The pages are easy to copy so you do not run out of practice space.
