Ehhh
I really wanted to like this more but I couldn’t. I enjoyed seeing Megan grow but the book felt very disjointed. We kind of just jump around from scene to scene and time period to time period. There isn’t a good flow, the story just feels like a bunch of scenes.
I did enjoy Megan’s revenge though! Very happy for her!
Those are just my opinions, you may feel different, give it a look!

Loved learning Megan and Anson's story. I was sad that I thought this was the last book in the series; however, a new cover has been released. I love that the Gideon stories are continuing.

Her bratty behavior finally caught up to her!
Her father, the General Moses Elijah Knight, warned her not to go on her girl trip. But since her mother's passing to cancer, Megan gave everybody hell and did just what she wanted to anyway. Little did she know that that trip would forever change her life. Her life would never be the same after her kidnapping in more ways than one. Anson was immediately put in protection mode when he first saw how Megan was kidnapped. Megan felt the strength and protectiveness of his true feelings and was drawn to him only. He was one of a few people she allowed to connect to her besides her father. Her only place of safety was with Anson. Anson vowed to be her protector and get revenge on her behalf.
It took Megan years to heal from the torturous nightmare of her kidnapping. But being around the strong and loving Gideon brothers and their wives and training Megan brought her back her confidence and self-work to extract her own revenge. When they say that revenge is a dish best-served cold, Megan served her revenge at sub-zero cold to the two men that brought hell into her life. She knew she had the backup of the entire Gideon family for support.
I loved this story about Megan's kidnapping. It was in the first book of the Gideon brothers and I often wondered what happened, now I know. I wish the author would have refreshed our memory of the background of the brother's father. He did talk about the trouble he and his wife had due to racism. But I can't remember if he was Maori or what. I also would have preferred her to give definitions to the terms of endearment used within the body of the book instead of in a glossary that I completely overlooked until the end. I tried to look up these words in my Kindle dictionary to find there were none.
Despite my little petty hiccups, the story was well done. The plot was on point and I just love the way the wives took in Megan as one of their own. I cheered for Megan's revenge plot. She handled her business and learned her training lessons very well. Now she can completely be the wife to Anson he deserves.

Absolutely amazing!! Love these Gideon Brothers!!
At first when I started reading the Gideon Brothers books I thought Asher was my favorite brother. But I think he's a close second now because this book, Anson, is by far one of the best I've read next to Asher and Jag. I knew when I read about Megan and Anson's closeness in Asher's book that somthing was afoot. But wow! I obviously had no clue. J. Nell has a way of pulling her readers into her stories that you feel you're right there witnessing what's taking place. I will admit to crying at certain parts in the book. And laughing hysterically at so many others throughout the book. Anson and Megan's love journey was such an emotional read. But so worth it. I love how the family will go through Hades itself if one of them needs help. But I have to say the highlight was True. That chick and her weaponry. 😂😂 Yes she was a hot mess. Atlas has his hands full with her! I gave this book 5⭐ due to the amazing storyline, character development, action scenes, love scenes and the acknowledgment J. Nell paid to the mental health issues surrounding Megan in the book. I can't recommend this amazing book enough. It is definitely worth reading.

It’s Healing Time!!
Anson did a wonderful thing in helping Megan heal from her ordeal after being kidnapped. His love and patience and understanding is what helped her heal, also throw in the fact that Savy took her in and treated her like her own child. The rest of the women did the same thing, they took and showed her love and encouragement that helped her get back on her feet through the many different types of trainings they put her through, including the other Gideon brothers, help her through there training also. I was also happy that Megan recognize she handled so many situations with her dad, the wrong way, and now she’s even more thankful that he stuck by her and helped her out and was there when she really needed him. This book was truly soul-searching and powerful and it’s message For any woman who is taking back her own self-esteem self-worth in order to heal herself again.

Healing Within
Anson and Megan's story was SO GOOD!! The chemistry between these two is amazing. They are each others savior. When the secret came out, I knew it would hit everyone HARD. The conversation between Anson and Asher had me in tears. I love how Megan got creative with Anson when she needed..MORE! ! I also love how Anson spoke with his brothers about what he needed to do. Savvy is at it again lol. Megan had to do what she did to heal herself. The kids (younger and older) know how to work their uncles. The bond of this family and how they are there when needed is what makes them special. Training with them is what I want to do lol. I'm looking forward to the next book.

I honestly love all of the Gideon brothers and have been thrilled by all of the books in this series. But Anson... blew my mind. The patience that Anson gave Megan after her rescue. The care that he took with not just her body, but her mind and her heart... whew! This is a MAN. Period. Megan really grew as a character throughout this book. And given what happens to her, I'm so glad that J. Nell took her time, literally. Megan is given the time as a character to work through her trauma. Because of that, I felt like as a reader, I was also able to invest in how Megan triumphs and comes full circle to her being whole again and allowing herself to be with her husband in every way. It was worth going through all of the pain with these two.

This was.by far the best story in the series! The writer gives us the power of love and knowing it can heal. We get a tremendous subject matter that not only is a nightmare but is just so so.scary,but the writer gives is a grand ro.ance.Every woman should have a Anson or someone like him,he.is definitely book boyfriend material. As a.matter of.fact he is the book boyfriend. This was just solid storytelling, it is done with so much class. Anson is going to be a.tough act to follow.

Love this family
I have read all your books. First I love the fact that your heroines are grown and sexy being a women of a particular age I don't see this to often. The patience that Anson had for Megan was sweet and caring. The women in your books are just as strong and good matches for each brother. Your books are full of adventure, and are funny as hell. Pain Doesn't Have To Last
Anson & Megan are thrown into a wild & horrible situation. Megan will have to dig deep within her soul to come out on the other side of tragedy. Anson falls hard for her & is determined to be there every step of the way. This was a story about healing, self determination & mostly about love. There are characters from other Gideon novels returning. It was a love fest every step of the way. This was a great addition to the series. Enjoy.

Tear-Jerker
This was a tear-jerker from beginning to end. I loved Anson and Megan’s story best of all so far. The depths he went to for her was true love. To hide what he hid from his brothers and family. I’m so proud of Megan for taking back control of her life and finally fighting back. It took a lot of love for Anson to have the patience he had. Their story was perfect. Can’t wait for the next brother.

Good Read
Megan has been through a lot. Anson helped rescued her and took care of her. The love between them was beautiful. What happened to Megan caused her to be traumatized about being intimate. Anson loved her so much he waited until she was ready. Baby when that happened they was getting it in big time. I was surprised to find out that they were married for years and never told anyone. Very good book. Can't wait for the next one.

Wow great story.
This story has so many twists and turns, it's such a well written story.
I like how this story is told over several years which makes sense when you see how Megan and Anson's love story progresses. She is an amazingly strong woman to come back from her kidnapping ordeal, and Anson is so patient waiting for her to heal.
The rest of the crazy Gideon brothers, spouses and will be at some point spouses are all here adding to the mix with the usual humor.

While I found this story to be interesting, it became a little difficult to follow. From the time of her rescue, Anson has always been Megan’s place of safety. Being with Anson will afford Megan the release she needs and release she will. It could be just me, but I don’t find the brothers with names that begin with ‘A’ all that interesting. I am hoping that the hype of Aryan and Brooklyn’s story measures up.

OMG
Where to start, must must must read this book, all the books are but this so far takes the cake, every word, I was hanging on, action filled, love for ions to go around. I love the dynamic make up of the wives, they all have each other backs, just like the brothers, wonderful written. I can't wait for book 8 and 9 and 10, 3 more brothers to go.

Healing
I was curious about Megan's recovery from reading about her in the other books. Anson and Megan's story was perfect. I love them as a couple. Anson was just the best. The way he loved and took care of her was what she needed to recover fully. He didn't push her but let her healing in her own time and space.
I can't wait to read the other remaining brothers' stories.

This book has me on the edge regarding to what happened to Megan on a girls trip…And this has happened to a lot of BW and unfortunately they won’t ever come home..Anson helped to bring her home and survive a horrendous ordeal.. Awesome book!
This is a great book, and the characters are very entertaining and believable. I have truly enjoyed reading this series. The chemistry between Anson and Megan was heartfelt and full of love and smoking hot 🔥. The journey was full of drama and romance that kept you wanting more. I highly recommend this book to all of my romance believable.

amazing series
Amazing series. I ABSOLUTELY love you made the characters 35-65. I love Megan and Anson’s story. I was happy Megan got her life and confidence back. Anson was patience and loving.
Now I’m ready for Skai and Jabarri. Make it epic:

This was a hard read.
Megan was a tortured soul. I won’t go into details, but just know you need a strong stomach to read her and Anson’s story. At least there is a HEA. Just a long road to the ending.

Anson' book is Golden
I really enjoyed Anson's story. He and Megan had to go through a lot to get to the other side. The revenge scene from Megan was totally gangsta.
