Let's Do This: "Falling Through the Cracks"

“Let’s Do This,” was written with the intent to shine a bright light on what can possibly be the negative consequences for a child that lacks guidance from family, especially from their mother and father in a school setting. We decided that it was an absolute must to write a book that depicted our main character’s struggles that plagued him from beginning of the story to the end. A couple of chapters depict several attempts made to intervene with him in the story, but unfortunately because of little or no parental involvement, the patterns of his defiance took him over the edge. This ultimately led to his removal from a comprehensive school setting and also to become part of the juvenile corrections system
