Impossible Parents Go Green

Rate this book
Ben and Mary Norm are, well, normal. Unfortunately, their parents aren't. In fact, Mr and Mrs Norm are, quite simply, impossible. So when they get the eco-bug and decide to save the planet, things get a little out of hand... Brian Patten turns the typical family on its head with his delightful notion of exceedingly well-behaved children coping with extraordinarily badly behaved parents (think Saffy from Absolutely Fabulous coping with her mother Edina's wicked ways, but for much younger children!). The result is a pacy, funny little book, ideal for young readers who like to get to grips with a book that is not only enjoyable, but also brings environmental issues very much to the fore.
