Two stories by one of the most popular yaoi mangaka authors out there. The first story which is the longer of the two is about a sweet university grad working at a café. The owner introduces him to a good friend of his whom Akino already knows but apparently Kazaoka the author doesn't remember. There is a slow coming together story where Akino tries to hide how he knew Kazaoka from the past and when Kazaoka finds out, he gets pretty upset. Good story and graphics, great translation/scanlation as well.
The second, shorter story is only about one chapter long that features two couples breaking up at the start of the story. Throughout the story we find out the reason for the break up and that these two may not be over each other quite yet. Sexy!
There is a couple panels at the end which I love that the scan team translated, there's a great story where the mangaka gives a word of warning, she had accidently messed up her computer and took it to be repaired. When the technician asked her if he could open a file on her computer to verify it was fixed he got to see some of her yaoi work firsthand. Pretty funny stuff!
I kinda like the artwork, but I feel like some parts of the dialogue are pretty messy—or maybe it’s more that they’re too shallow and cliché. So, I didn’t really find the story that engaging. Still, I did enjoy it overall.
It’s hard for me to review this because the younger, inexperienced uke and the older rich or famous seme is my favorite trope. I will say I’ve already read it a few times and I always enjoy it. Minase Masura is a favorite mangaka of mine.
Vom Charakter her sind beide recht unterschiedlich.
