The mind is everything. What you think you become.

Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation brings ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.

Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.

If we destroy something around us, we destroy ourselves. If we cheat another, we cheat ourselves.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.

Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.

No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

Look within, you are the Buddha.

Rule your mind or it will rule you.
