While the fundamentals of posing and working with groups hasn't changed entirely, the age of family groups wearing identical outfits (khakis and a blue work shirt anyone?) has thankfully mostly passed into history. Read this book for the basics but understand that the example photos are quite dated even for a book that's already around six years old.

Good book with a lot of helpful information on posing large groups. However, there were too many images showing only couples for a group portrait photography handbook.

Older book, but still great for learning how to properly pose.
