I generally don’t find myself attracted to collections of short stories. I’m not sure why. But I absolutely loved these short stores! It’s a great way to take a few minutes of a break during a busy day to read one story or several. It would make a perfect gift for someone or a wonderful treat for yourself.

Stranded by Kimberly Raiser is a true gem of a read. It features 21 short stores ranging from a page to about twenty pages. There’s literally a story for everyone. Some are funny, frightening, out of this world, and even thought provoking. Raiser has a wonderful imagination and she creatively mixes horror and paranormal storylines that give way to a Twilight Zone or X-Files experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to science fiction and horror enthusiasts.

This is a slim volume, and the actual stories amount to a mere 90 pages!
Most of the stories did absolutely nothing for me, and with many of them I did not understand the point of them. looking at the book on Amazon (as suggested by the author) it seems that many others feel much the same way, with many readers giving one or two stars.

The average rating on Goodreads is skewed by TWO five-star ratings by the author, and at least one by another author and friend, which is very naughty. So beware if you are tempted to buy it!

This is a must read for anyone who has one minute to spare, or thirty. The stories range from philosophical, horror, sci-fi and much more. Very entertaining and full of variety. I get more and more compliments on this book, and people tend to go back and read the stories over and over again!!! Stop by Kimberly's website to see where I am!!!!

You can search inside this book on amazon to get an idea of what it's about!!!
