It's a book that's over 800 pages long, but it still has no plot, characters, or action sequences that interest even a patient book reader like me. I think it's an embarrassment of a book, and now that I see it has an average rating of 3 stars, it disgusts me. DON'T READ IT. I'm warning you. It's awful. The only reason I put a pitifully overrated review of one star is because it taught me something. And that was x= abc\c

We used this book when I was in highschool. I literally just purchased it because we will be homeschooling. I have a add ADHD and a generalized learning disability (dyscalculia) and this was a really good despite it. I even kept my formula cheat sheets from school and continued after highschool to practice math to overcome my deficiencies. Also because of my special interest requires me to use math. My son is autistic and we're homeschooling because he was just being placed in front of screens while at school and ignored. It's a no wonder why alpha is iPad gen. When teachers disrespect your IEP requests to not use screens... Those of us with disabilities really need to be able to cut screen time down and focus on physical materials. It helps a large majority of us that don't need it to assist language. Screens disrupt our flow and attention span. I can't help but feel the modern public education system is all about disrupting and hijacking attention because some lobbyists advocated for tech. (Feeling like a giant failure and we need to roll it back.) So schools would spend money on tech. So I got excited when I saw it, algebra 2, and geometry on thriftbooks. Bought the whole set. It'll give me time to brush up on it before it comes time to teach my son. This is a great investment thank you.

Sigh. The perils of math. That's why I only rated it one star- only because frankly, I suck at math. Except quadratic functions and factorials and exponentials. I'm not bad at those, actually they are fun

And I only put the teacher's edition because they didn't have a student edition...
