Miami bred, Bella Jay (born Precious Rodgers) has had a love for books since she was a little girl. Getting lost in them was a favorite past time but writing them has become a true love. In 2018, with a little push she stepped out on faith and released her first novel to the world allowing her writer alter ego, Bella Jay, to take flight into the writing industry.

She writes spicy & contemporary Black romance books with unapologetically flawed characters who she loves to fix.

When she’s not wrapped up in her characters, she can be found traveling the world, building her empire, sipping on tea or wine while reading a book, and wishing healthy eats were pancakes or cupcakes.

This book deserves all the of stars one can possibly give a book! I was not expecting to fall head over heels in love with this story! This book celebrated black love in the best way possible! I’m speechless!!

Elgin “Juice” Newsome and Brooklin “Books” Newsome are hopelessly in love with each other. I mean the LOVE runs DEEP. And after 15 years together and 5 years married they are getting a divorce. The love these two shared had me questioning why a divorce was even on the table but the more you read the more you begin to understand! There was no infidelity, no mess, no sides none of that. It was pure love. A selfless love. This was a beautiful story about what it means to put yourself first and that no matter how much someone else loves you it means nothing of you don’t love yourself. I shed a few thug tears but y’all know by now that I’m a cry baby so 🗣SUE ME!! This was not your average love story but it was a love story indeed! I loved all things Jooks and the visuals and the time and effort that Juice put into their divorcemoon was everything! The boat scene was my favorite part of the book! The Harry Potter references were everything!!

Everything about this read was simply amazing and if you don’t do anything else, please read this before the year is out! You will not be disappointed!

Always Been Jooks 🥹

9/18

I came back and pushed my rating for this book to 5 stars. I have thought about this couple so much over the past couple weeks.

I’ll see you around Brooklin…for our sequel.”

When I started reading Brooklin (Books) and Elgin’s (Juice) story, I didn’t prepare my heart for their love to touch me the way it did. I could feel the love and chemistry between these two jumping from the pages - how could divorce be a part of this? There was no cheating, no lying, no side chicks or side babies, no drama - just two people who loved each other tremendously. They were so good together but when Juice’s celebrity caused them to have time apart, Brooklin realized some things about herself that she needed to address. Did she need to divorce that amazing man to address those things? Well…that’s not our decision to make 😉

I ended this book feeling so proud of Brooklin because what a TOUGH decision to make. Putting yourself first and choosing to learn to make yourself happy while the world is watching (not to mention the women waiting for you to let go of that good man) couldn’t be easy, but she stuck with it. I know that’s right Brooklin 2.0 is going to blow our minds.

Hoping for an update on these two 🤞🏾🤞🏾

I received this ARC from author Bella Jay and from reading the synopsis and author's note I was intrigued. I went into this story thinking I was getting a nice juicy, possibly messy story about a broken couple that decided on one last hurrah!
I was completely unprepared for how thoroughly these characters, Juice and Books (Elgin&Brooklyn) would so quickly burrough themselves into my spirit. This book is NOT about mess. No drama. No scandal. Just 2 people with beautiful and true support systems navigating life the best way they can. They love each other completely. Life just happens and decisions need to be made.
I absolutely loved this story. It was true representation of discovering that you have to love yourself completely in order to truly love another. This story will remain bookmarked for me. Beautifully written all around. The characters, the storyline, the dialogue, the intimacy...it was everything! Highly recommend!

Omg! This book had me all in my feelings. It was bittersweet and made me smile and tear up at times. I was emotionally invested and the intimacy was “top tier.” Although I’m not familiar with Harry Potter, I loved how the author added in parts of it. (I may watch it now.) I loved the screenshots. Too cute. This wasn’t a conventional love story but it worked for Books and Juice. I loved Holidaze by Bella Jay and now she’s added another one to my favorites. Bookmarked.

There’s marriage in trouble, then there’s marriage ending— this was the latter. & You might think “why would I read this book?” Because it is a portrait of selfless love—it is benignant, deep, & never ending. This book made me fall in love with Books & Juice & wish for them to stay together while simultaneously wishing they get what they need at this moment. This book will live rent free in my mind forever. I highly recommend with book

I’m fr still processing this book😭

Bella need to change her name to Sade

The roller coaster of emotions this chick always has me on I swear foe lord!! But got d*mn this was an amazing read. I legit wanted to box Books cause nothing was making sense (cause Bella play to much) and Juice isn’t the type of man one should ever ever never let go of. I got it later but still, eff all that, I would have had to find another way. I absolutely 100,000 percent loved Bella’s writing style in this book (cause it’s similar but not always exactly the same) the dialogue and AAVE was 1) funny AF, 2) comforting, and 3) couldn’t have been written any other way. I laughed, I cried, I cursed (mostly Bella), and I related. Books feelings really mirror some of mine and that was hard to read but nice at the same time. This is women’s fiction (I hate that term) with a health dose of romance and spice. It is an incredible read and my new favorite Bella Jay book.

I LOVED THIS GODDAMN BOOK SO MUCH. If my partner ain’t stepping like Juice is I DONT WANT THEM. That man loved her through thick and thin. Day in and day out. He paid attention to the kind of romance books she read, took the time to understand her bookmark & tabbing system. He recreated scenes from her favorite books. He made plans for every single day and she didn’t have to lift a finger. He listens to understand and not to respond. He communicated his feelings, thoughts and opinions without arguing. He was confident in himself without being cocky. He was funny, loving, caring thoughtful, supportive SELFLESS. He dicked her the Fück down all over that damn cabin !!!Goodbye

I love Books too I really do. Sis was strong and brave and supportive. She made a plan and stuck to it even though it was difficult. Sis went to therapy, she did the work and is trying to better herself. She has the strength to set boundaries and walk away even though she loved that man. She loved him more than she loved herself which was the problem. This book helped me understand what it means to be co-dependent and how toxic that could be. This explained the importance of self love, you cannot love someone else without loving yourself first because God forbid you make your entire life around them and they leave them what do you have?

Whew bitch I ain’t been this obsessed about a book in a hot minute. This gave me everything I didn’t know I needed. I was belly laughing, had real tears with how funny these two were. I related to Juice in so many ways and found myself feeling like I was reading my own thoughts when it was his POV. I didn’t want it to end but all good things must come to one apparently. I’m gonna miss them so much.

This isn’t a traditional romance but I loved the ending, it gave me hope. Read it rn or else

ARC provided courtesy of author in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve heard of honeymoons. Babymoons, even. A divorcemoon, though? This will either be a complete disaster or the greatest thing ever. Either way, Brooklin’s about to find out when she accepts her estranged husband Elgin’s invitation for a final baecation before they divorce. It’s a bit unconventional, but what does she really have to lose?

Brooklin, aka Books, and Elgin, aka Juice, have been together more than a decade; long enough to see his unexpected pivot into Hollywood stardom and her own ascent as a host of a popular romance book podcast. It’s no small thing to part ways after so much time and so many changes. To his credit, Juice creates the perfect getaway for the two, with a book-inspired itenery that’s entirely suited to Books’ love of reading and will ensure she doesn’t forget how very good they were together. Throughout their story, Bella Jay brilliantly captures the complex emotional and mental journey it is for them to consider what’s ahead of them.

This book was an emotional roller-coaster as it explored Books’ and Juice’s search for clarity about the decision to end their marriage. One moment they were in the midst of a passionate sex-capade as if everything was great between them, and in the next moment they’d erected emotional walls as if the memory of their divorce had suddenly reappeared. The ups and downs they experience are what one would expect of a couple in their position — there are lingering questions, blind-siding revelations, and emotionally charged conversations that were long overdue which make the trip about more than a final fling. The second-guessing, frustration, and anguish are juxtaposed with trust, tenderness, and chemistry that neither can easily forget. The result was a story that at times felt as gut-wrenching as it did endearing.

While Bookmarked’s central plot is focused on the end of a marriage, the arc of the story makes it well-suited to women’s fiction. Brooklin’s issues are front and center, and the divorce sometimes feels secondary to her making sense of her life. She is, understandably, in flux as she tries to figure out her love life, career, and life expectations in general. While the romantic relationship drives what happens, her self-reflection and processesing outshines it.

In two words, I would describe Bookmarked as bittersweet and satisfying. There is so much angst that comes from these two sharing space for what they assume will be a final time. It’s awkward and uncomfortable to read at times, but is also filled with moments to make you smile or blush as they remind each other of why they lasted so long. For all the emotional turmoil, I couldn’t put this down and was fully invested in Books and Juice’s relationship. As far as whether I’d recommend it? Absolutely.

I don’t know if this book was recommended or if I found it on my own but please do not recommend this type of book to me. I loved and hated it at the same time and I definitely ugly cried. The letters at the end gutted me. 😭I ain’t built for this. However I loved the LOVE that juice and books had for each other, black love at its finest. This doesn’t have your traditional HEA.

Things I loved
Books was an avid book reader
They both were Harry Potter fans
Jooks Day!!!
The Divorce Moon, how well planned and thought out it was
Juice, how soft he was with Books but still that 🥷
Books wanting to be better and taking the necessary steps to get there.

I definitely recommend!!!

Bookmarked

I had been seeing the author promote this book in her recent emails and thought I had already read it, but couldn’t remember, so I decided to download it to see if it was marked as read on my Kindle app and lo and behold it was marked as new, so I immediately dove into reading this book. This story had me hooked from beginning to end. It is not your typical love story that ends in a happily ever after, but it is a story that I found very relatable. I saw myself in Brooklin and her dilemma with choosing herself over her marriage and it made me have to self reflect on my life, marriage and choices, which is so necessary. I think many women can relate to Books in that sometimes when we meet and find a good man that loves us down like Juice did her, we may lose ourselves unintentionally and become codependent on our mate to make us happy. I fully commend Books for making the hard decision to choose herself in this story because that took courage.

I really loved these characters. Juice was definitely the perfect book bae. This man loved Books down and wanted the best for her, even though what was best for her lead him to heartbreak. I loved the idea of the divorcemoon and the effort he put into loving and understand his Books baby. This trip was everything and was what they both needed. They were able to be vulnerable and fully talk out everything and get some clarity and understanding about the path they were on. I truly believe that their divorce is just a bookmark in their story and that their story is not over. This story was released a couple years ago and I don’t believe I have seen anything hints of a sequel, but I do hope that these two made it back to each other better than ever so that they could continue their love story. These two had the friendship, the laughs, the unconditional love and support, and the physical was just the icing on the cake. Now there were moments with these two that left me in tears because I could just feel their heartbreak off page and because I could fully resonate with their relationship and what they were going through.

I say all that to say, read this book and I doubt you will be disappointed. Very well done Bella Jay.

wait what!?!?!? is this how it ends?? I'm missing a chapter and I am about to cry over it!

@Withshadeontop better keep on digging cause I need to know

Juice is book bae excellence. He was SOOO understanding and really wanted what was best for her. This story was so beautiful and sexy at the same time. The chemistry, the humor and the love Juice and Books shared really had me rooting for them from the very beginning (and i still am).

P.S. : I want a divorcemoon minus the divorce. It was so romantic and thoughtful. The way he planned every single detail to a T wooow. Juice just lifted the bar sky high by himself.

Bookmarked on my heart

Damn 😭 The author warns us not to get our hopes up, but I was STILL crushed. I cried a few times reading this book lawd.

Juice and Books had a fairy tale love!! They had been together for 15 years, chemistry was still strong, respect shared, both faithful, and they were still head over heels in love. They found themselves at an unexpected impasse that was leading them to part ways. This quote “And the bookmarks are symbolic of the fact that you will always be bookmarked in my heart.” stood out to me because it was the sweetest thing and was signature to their love story!

Books 📚uugh I felt for her. Everything in me felt like GIRL do not give up on this man! However, I have always told my kids you do not need someone to complete you. You should enter a relationship whole, and so should your partner. So, I am in complete agreement with her choosing herself. I understood her reasoning completely, but didn't understand why they couldn't work through it together. He was definitely an understanding man.
Juice 🧃 uugh I loved him!! I mean he is the ultimate man for a book lover. He is added to my book bae list expeditiously. His heart was so broken and it was hard because he felt like he failed her. He wanted so badly to help her through this rough patch, but that wasn't their fate.
Y'all, this divorcemoon took me out. Like literally everything about it, the ups and downs were perfect. The thought and care Juice put into the trip was everything. How he spoke life into her and made sure she was clear on how deeply he loved her was just.... heart breaking.
I realize she said this was the end, but I'm gonna need a sequel. I'm definitely not ready to let them go.

Bookmarked and Tabbed

Let me first state that this was not what I expected in this story. Second, imagine by delight and dismay at the same time. Third, I love, loved, loved getting to meet Books and Juice. Their story was intimate, confounding, filled with emotional issues and was so well written. I was exhausted from so much energy spent trying to help Juice and Books figure things out. And to answer the question the author posed at the beginning of the book... Yes, if my soon to be divorced husband asked me to go on a last vacation together, the answer would be, YES! Because, I understood why they needed the time away together to speak their truths, and for Books to explain her emotional point of view face-to-face. And.... I whole heartedly believe there will be a next chapter. Hint... Hint... This was an amazing and unusual love story with a sort of atypical ending. Lol, and it fits this story perfectly. Read this one with an open mind, and remember its not our story to tell. 5*

”you’ll always be the one i want to return to and who can return to me. you’ll always be my favorite. you’re my bookmark.” 🥺🥺❤️

man oh man, what a beautiful love. this isn’t a conventional story as it does follow brooklin and elgin, and their divorce. but when i tell you this book portrayed one of the most genuine and true loves i’ve ever read about, i mean that.

this is one of those stories that just makes you shed tears because of how real and raw it is. not only does this book show love between two partners, but it also shows a woman choosing herself even when it hurts 🥺.

brooklin better than me because after that divorcemoon i would be hooked right back in baby 😭. because what you mean, you dedicated our whole trip to some of my favorite scenes in my favorite romance book? an intentional man who knows how to show his love for his woman will always hold a special place in my heart 🫶🏽.

all i have to say is READ THIS BOOK. you will come out extremely pleased. ill definitely be reading another book by bella jay after this 🤎.

I’m not ok 😭💔

Books and Juice! I don’t have much to say about this book but a few things…you have to choose yourself sometimes and although it’s hard it’s the right thing to do for you. The other thing is I wish Books would’ve been honest with herself early on in their marriage so that she wouldn’t have had to get to this point. That was my only frustration is when she tried to deny what she was dealing with early on 😩 and now here we are! If I ever go on a divorce moon like what Juice planned?! Whew! Idk if I’m staying divorced lol. Juice was an amazing man and for him to let go of the love of his life because he loved her 😩😭💔. I really hope and pray this isn’t the end of this couple's story! I need Bella Jay to write the sequel! 15 yrs together and let’s redo 15yrs apart idk?! Something! 😩 Beautiful story but beware it is an emotional ride the closer we get to the end of the divorce moon 😭💔.

Bookmarked Forever

***I was blessed with the opportunity to be a beta reader for this Phenomenal author, yet I wanted to write my full review after reading the finished book. It only got better and Bella Jay gets 5 stars off the rip just bc she's that great of a writer to me. Definitely one of favs, hands down.***

Although this wasn't your typical romance story, it was heavy on the romance tip. I've never heard of a divorcemoon, yet if I ever get divorced under these circumstances, sign me up for one😉.

Elgin 'Juice Box' Newsome is all the book baes and they daddies too😏. This man was so selfless with his love for his wife (she could say they were divorced all she wanted to but she would ALWAYS be his wife, his Books Baby) and I was so here for his last huge showing of his everything to her. He respected and understood that she needed to find herself outside of their relationship and although he wouldn't have chosen divorce, after some push back, he agreed. The divorcemoon was his way of them having one last hoorah, one last time to be Jooks and have Jooks Day and be themselves, in love, loving each other, and creating more memories to add to their story. The way he took care of her body, soul, mind and spirit had me ready to go😜. Man these two were spicy. I love the thought he took into the lake house trip and how he paid attention to her love of annotating books. He definitely got the house cup, until the sequel😉. So divine.

Brooklin 'Books Baby' Newsome has to be one of the sweetest heroines I've read about in a while. She really loved her husband yet didn't know who she was outside of him. Given that he was doing great in his acting career, he'd go days or longer away from her and she felt lost. I'm glad she sought out a therapist, yet I think had she told Juice earlier about what was going on, he'd pushed her to take more time to herself to get to the root of what was going on with her. I think the divorce was a bit drastic, given that these two were so perfect for each other, yet like her husband, I respect it. I'm glad she decided to not only go on the trip, yet truly lean into the love and sereneness of it all. They both needed that time to heal and start the next chapter of their lives, so I'm glad she went all in. And that whole librarian bit got a sister feeling spicy too; imma hit up a shop and get me some role playing gear 😜. I loved it.

When I first read the book, I was thinking something was missing, yet being the boss author she is, Bella Jay went back and added in just what was needed to take this book over the top and I absolutely Love the final book.

I think I've wrote this on all her books I've reviewed, yet I'll state it again and again...READ👏🏾EVERY👏🏾LAST👏🏾ONE👏🏾OF👏🏾HER👏🏾BOOKS👏🏾! Yes I'm yelling. She deserves it. You will NOT be disappointed.

This was a great read that won't end in your typical HEA, yet there's so much that can happen in the future, that it ends as it should.

Great read. Highly recommend.

Just read it!

Okay. Wow. I’m usually the person that absolutely loves anti-HEA stories because it makes the characters feel real. I makes everything believable and this story gave me that. HOWEVER, the accountability, open communication, and pure unadulterated love between Juice and Books had me wishing for the typical HEA. I actually wanted that for them—even if it doesn’t happen instantly. It would be one second chance romance I would happily await because it wouldn’t be a story plagued by infidelity, babies, evil families, and criminal activity being the cause of the initial separation. It would simply be each character growing and entering into a new phase of their lives where both are complete.

Aside from this, I loved that Bella Jay tackled the topic of codependency here. It is real and until you find love and acceptance within yourself, you’ll always look to others to fill a void. I’m so interested in learning about Books’s journey to finding her true self and Juice’s journey as well. “Bookmarked” is the perfect title for their story—I truly don’t see it ending here.

I loved this book. So much. I loved Books and Juice as individuals AND as a couple. Juice is just……the way he showed his love for Books even though it caused him pain made me swoon. Books, I can’t remember a character that made me love them and broke my heart at the same time, but she did. To make the decision she made, to REALLY do what she needed to do in order to put herself first was so brave. Bookmarked is a beautiful, heartbreaking, complicated, intimate love story and what Bella Jay did with this story was masterful. It made me laugh, I cried several times, I swooned over Juice and clapped for Books. It just made me feel so many different emotions. I didn’t think I’d like the ending, but I was wrong. It was the perfect bookmark. I know what the afterword said but I also feel like this story, Jooks’ story, ain’t done yet. I’m going to hope and wish and pray that I’m right and we hear from them again. This is probably the best book I’ve read in 2022 and Bella Jay really leveled up as an author. You absolutely need to read this book.

Ever heard of a divorcemoon? Yeah neither have I lol. At first, I kept asking myself, why are they even getting a divorce when it’s so clear they still love each other? But as the story unfolded, I started to understand. While I may not fully agree with Book’s decision, I respect it because she finally chose to put herself first, and that mattered.
This isn’t your typical happily ever after. Book and Juice’s story isn’t tied up with a neat bow,
it’s still unfolding.
But what really stuck with me was the way Juice loved on Books during their divorcemoon. Tender, patient, and real. A good read with layers of love, growth, and hard choices.

ARC Review: DEHYDRATED!!!!!

Let me start off by saying I am DEHYDRATED!!!!!!! And for multiple reasons. My good sis, Bella Jay has caused me to be wrung out and hanging on the clothesline to dry in the backyard of an old house in a country town because baybee!!!! This book had me in my Cancer ass emotions throughout the whole damn thing. I went through it, you hear me.
This was my first book by this author and when I tell you she was not playing with the pen, she was not playing. I'm still reeling from it all. So, if it seems like I'm rambling, forgive me.
Bookmarked is about a couple who are within days of their divorce being finalized. The husband, Elgin "Juice" Newsome invites his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brooklin "Books" Newsome out to dinner. Since the couple agreed to still be friends after everything was said and done, I didn't see it as weird. However, dinner was only Juice's catalyst for what he really wanted from Books, a divorcemoon. You heard me, a divorcemoon. Sounds crazy, right? Well, what's crazier is that Books agreed to it. 5 days of just the two of them in an unfamiliar territory so that they can have closure.
Now, it's important to know that this couple isn't divorcing for the typical reasons you would think and they are still very much in love with each other. No cheating, no abuse, no slander, nor negative actions against each other. So, what's the harm?
Well, those 5 days were jam-packed with every emotion you can think of: love, passion, anger, irritation, sadness, playfulness, etc. And I felt them right along with Elgin and Brooklin. Throughout the entire book, I could see the unsureness & questioning, the uncommunicating words that they both could read off of their body language. The way they catered to each other and gave each other what they needed when they needed it. In my opinion, they were very much in sync. So many times, it had me questioning why the hell they were still going through with the dreaded d-word.
While it was explained, and I completely understand why they (*cough Brooklin cough*) felt the divorce was necessary, I truly believe there were other ways to do what needed to be done. My opinion, though, would not have led to this very well written, thought-out story that would lead you to believe this was a romance... until it wasn't.
Bookmarked is very much a love story (definitely not a romance) and I have come to grips with this. It was a reminder that sometimes you have to let go of the one thing you love the most to figure out what is really best for you. I enjoyed Juice & Books' story immensely and I can only pray Bella Jay hears more from them (and they have their HEA) because they are definitely not finished with each other. Thank you Bella Jay for the opportunity to ARC read this book for an honest review.

This story was raw. Full of emotion. Full of intimacy.

Brooklin & Elgin, friends to lovers.
I’m so glad the author started with “this is not an HEA”.
This couple are soul mates. The friendship is first. The love is everlasting. The bond is solid. So why are they getting a divorce? This question is answered through the course of the story. They love on each other, they are vulnerable with each other, and they get closure during the final days of their marriage.

I’ll be honest, I was like why am I reading this if it’s not an HEA? But I read it an enjoyed it. The characters love is the point of the story, not the end of the marriage.
This is a friends to lover done in a way not often seen, there was no one siding pining or lusting or unrequited love. This couple had an organic transition from friends to lovers and I loved that for them.
This is a well written story, the characters are full, and I recommend this book. Oh, and they have nasty sex, the good kind.

This was an amazing read! It was sunny. It was sad. It was honest. It gave me all the feels. There was no right or wrong in the situation between Elgin(Juice) and Brook (Books)
This book was about realizations and growing into a better you so you can hopefully be better as a couple. I wanted someone to blame but there was no one. The situation just was what it was. I cried at the end.

This is the first book I've read by Bella Jay, but trust it won't be the last. Great love story with equally flawed and relatable characters. Love that has the ability to withstand anything is a love most of us want to experience. Bella Jay wove a story that not only breaks and mends your heart, but turns you on in the process as well. The emotional maturity, intimacy, commitment, respect, and growth of Juice and Books... chefs kiss!!!

As a mental health professional, I do wish there had been a more positive portrayal of seeking and maintaining mental health, especially within the back community. Individual and couples therapy can be so beneficial to the healing process and I wish that was included more in this story. But overall, an amazing story I'll likely come back to.

I received A copy of Bookmarked via ARC.

ARC Review---I was in a book slump for awhile and wondered if I would come across another read that would revive my love of reading. This book did that for me! The unique storyline, character development, and the chemistry between the main leads were everything I didn't know I needed and more. A divorcemoon??Yes! Books and Juice went on their divorcemoon in the lakes before their divorce was finalized. I felt every emotion and angst as they poured out of the pages and for Books to choose her happiness after being a longtime member of the people pleasers club was empowering! Juice was definitely all book bae in how he loved on Brooklin. I was very happy with the unconventional way it ended because it made so much sense. This author came through like no other and I am grateful. Her pen game is fierce and whatever inspired this story was a phenomenal choice! You must download this read. So worth it!

Absolutely love this book! The way Books and Juice love and support each other is so beautiful. It's the attention to detail for me. He literally did whatever to make her happy even if it hurt him. He really knew what she liked and when he didn't he asked to learn. She knew him well enough to know how to get him to communicate when he didn't want to and how to bring him out of his own thoughts. Their relationship was one of time and it showed in how they interacted with each other both intimately and in passing. I wanted nothing more than for them to do what was best for them. I love that she not only had the courage to make her decision, but to follow through with it as well.

I was in a bit of a reading slump today, but that all changed when I saw the email that this ARC was ready!! I was hooked from day one - the concept of a “divorcemoon” intrigued me, but I was 100% sold after reading Bella Jay’s content warnings. It had all my favorite things - Harry Potter, Black love, spiceee!!

I felt a special connection with Books from the very beginning. I actually saw lot of myself in her - 30 something, in a long term relationship/marriage, struggling daily with my mental health and how it affects those closest to me. I bear the weight of most of it alone because it’s HARD talking about it. I commend Books opening up to Juice about her struggle, and making the decision that was best for HER.

I wish I could go back and read this book for the first time again - it was so beautifully written! It made me laugh at the best of times, and it had me ugly crying into my bubble bath. Thank you Bella Jay for sharing Jooks’ story with us!

PS - I LOVE the ending! ∞
