It was pretty good. It was fairly similar to "The Dip" by Seth Godin. I felt like it gave me a good sneak peek into what the 80/20 principle is. It was super short, with around 45 pages, so it wouldn't even take 24 hours to read it. I have his "Living the 80/20 Way" book, which I'll probably be reading next.

I only read 20% of this book, but I got 80% of the message.

I stopped when I realized that less than 20% of the wheat is replanted to grow 100% of next year's crop...the rest of it feeds the human race.

Moral of the story: Just because 80% of your effort doesn't prosper you, that doesn't mean it doesn't prosper the bigger picture.

True to its lessons, this is a short book which is the distillation of the 80/20's core teachings. Staying true to the book, I'll keep this brief. The lessons on building alliances is worth the price in itself and the list of top 10 business ideas of all time is priceless to the right person. Great addition to any library.

This is basically a condensed version of Koch's other books about the 80/20 principle. His book The 80/20 Principle is still one of my all-time favorites. This booklet is good, too, but it lacks some of the depth you'll find in Koch's full-length books.

Included in this booklet are the five practices of 16X, as well as "The 10 Great Business Ideas of All Time" -- a useful list for thinking about business innovation.

Very short and very sweet. It’s a great summary and slightly different look at the almighty powerful 80/20.

Business management book, really straight to the point.

Building on the 80/20 rule of Pareto, the author provides the 16x principle: there are always few approaches which are at least 16 times more fertile that the conventional ways of working.

There are 5 practices of this principle:
1. Focus: concentrate on the most important issue and the best way to deal with it.
2. Defy the tyranny of routine, question own assumptions and think how the 80/20 rule applies to daily routine.
3. Do it your way, deploy your signature strengths.
4. Recruit the support of potent allies, a few, cultivate those relationships and colabore for mutual gain.
5. Recycle the worlds best ideas to fuel your innovation.

Questions to ask:
- What things truly count the most?
- What works the very best?
- What brings me the greatest joy, energy and fulfillment?
