fun! love the little prosaic bits opening each section and how they’re like little colour palettes. Hadn’t heard of Amrita Sher-Gil before this so it was cool to find out about her. Some of the formal experimentation fell a bit flat in some places but worked super well in others. Loved this collection overall!

Actually read it last year but re-read it super quickly a week ago for a book swap with a friend :) even in a rush, a lot of the poems stood out to me (I especially liked ‘Gossip clings to midriff tops’)

From the +- 50 poems only a handful spoke to me, but that is the beauty of poetry I guess. Either you feel it or you don’t.
